About our college

Curriculum is also same as the other NITs. In first year you have to learn everything which i personally dont like as i just want to learn the core subjects related to my branch. Some teachers are best here but some are like worse. I personally dont like chemistry and chemistry is the subject in first year where teachers are failing major chunk every year.

As i am in first year for now i really dont know a lot about internship here but if you have skills you can use your nit tag and can apply for any internship. And i guess for placements samsung and NVIDIA are quite famous recruiters here.

Last year placements were average like 10-12 lps for CSE it was above 15 tho but this year placements are not so good (it is what i heared in college). Lot of students from branches other then CSE and ECE are preparing for other examinations like gate, civil services etc.

Fees structure of this college lies in the mid as compare to other NITs and government funded colleges. If your family income is less than a lakh then you can easily get 100% scholarship here whereas in under 5 lakh you can have 50-60% or more it depends.

If you really want a great campus for your college just dont come here then. This NIT is running on a temporary campus. Hostels are quite decent especially for boys. There are only 5 clubs here after 2019. If you like sports you can get ample opportunities to represent your college in both inter and intra NIT.

Hostels are quite decent. From 2nd year you are getting quite good hostel. You have a option to live outside but i will insist everyone to enjoy hostel life in their 4 years of college. Breakfast of our mess is good dinner is average and lunch is below average(generally).

Admission process was quite same as other NITs as i guess, after getting some decent rank in your Jee main examination you can apply easily for this instituion. For CSE and ECE cutoff is little higher as other colleges.
