Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for evey semester is priorily uploaded on the official website of uttarakhand technical university dehradun. Women Institute of technology is totally a girl's college which is affiliated with uttarakhand technical university dehradun and is a campus Institute too. The improvement for area are the major issues with shortage of faculties.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for each semester is approximately 45000 excluding the miscellaneous and compulsory charges. The college currently not having hostels. The college also provide information regarding various scholarship such as national scholarship portal NSP, pragrati scholarship etc. For those student who are not financially stronger.

Campus Life

The college has a great infrastructure and campus but having a strict rules and regulations. The fest are typically held in month of march where students of all college affiliate with university come. The classroom are decent and spacious. The college also support you in taking part in extra curriculum activities such as hackathon, quizs etc.

Admission

The admission process in our college is very simple there is a simple process for admission you need to take joint entrance exam and qualified it with a minimum percentile of approx 75. The application form for the same can be found on official website of JEE. There are no reservation benefit availed by any student as it is a government Institute.

Balance campus life

Placement Experience:

Remarks:

This is an overall average Institute. Infrastructure is very much good as well as the faculties. Technical cum cultural programs are enjoyable. Negative remarks will be the fee, the fee is quite high and also there should be wifi facility available in the whole college campus.

Entrance Preview:

The entrance was as per JEE Main ranking in the institute. The fees and quality of education was attractive to apply in this college. The admission was very easy and quick. It was different world.

Inside WIT Dehradun

I applied to a few other enginnering colleges in my region that offered Btech programs . I recieved confirmed admission offers from a couple of them as well . However, I chose WIT as I felt overall learning atmosphere here aligned better with my goals for teamchnical growth and career development. The admission procedure here is simple the candidate must have completed 10+12 with physics chemistry and maths. The college accepts JEE main , state level entrance exams like UPSEE or other state technical exams and also considers direct admission based on merit depending on seat availability.
