My Journey as a Lovable KIITian

In 1st year, there will be basic subjects like physics,chemistry, electronics etc. In 2nd year, there will be computer science related subjects along with mathematics. In 3rd year, there will be only branch related subjects and in 4th year, we do the projects. The semesters will be of 4 months and the tests will be in interval of 2 months. The faculties are highly qualified, they usually come from renowned IITs & NITs and the teaching methods are also good.

Many companies offer interships such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Google etc. The roles they offer are Data analyst, Cyber Security Officer, Full Stack Developer, Fronted and Backened, Digital Marketing Executive etc.

Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester. Many companies visit the campus such as Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, NVIDIA, HubSpot etc. The average package of salary is 6-8lpa whereas the highest package of this year was 63lpa. 90% of students got placed this year. I too aim to get a good lpa job otherwise I will go for higher studies after getting the degree.

Tution fee is 175000 per semester, 350000 per year which is 1400000 for 4 years. The scholarship of 10-20k per semester is provided to the students having rank under 1000 in KIITEEE. Other students who have represented their state in any field such as arts, sports etc also get scholarships in terms of waiver from their tuition fees. Campus employment is also good along with internships and students get good amount of stipends too.

The tech fest is held in the month of December and the cultural fest (KIITFEST) take place in the month of February every year. In library there are many kinds of books, branch related and magazines etc. All the classrooms are air conditioned and the environment is also good. Every campus has cricket, football field and volley and basketcall courts and a indoor stadium as well where students can play baminton, table tennis etc. I am part of a student-run society named The Philanthrophy Hand as Social Activist and another society called NSS Target JEE which is a branch of National Service Scheme where I teach biology to 11 & 12th students of KISS School for their NEET Exam.

Admission is done through KIIT admission test called KIITEEE. In KIITEE, questions were asked from Maths, Physics & Chemistry. The cut-off was 90% to get into core CS branches. The admission process was smooth and well-planned.
