Few faculties are really good and are well educated.
The institute is very clean and it maintains its premises
Institute focuses a lot about the new trends in the industry

The Campus is very small and very crowdy because of that
Few faculties are not at all good enough to teach the students.

Course is very well designed by the institute, as this is an Autonomous institute they keep improving there course modules every year as per the insudtry needs. choice of electives are also given to the students in case if they want to choose.

Internships Opportunities

For Internship companies like Reliance jio, Infocepts and Byjus came to the campus for Internships. For Placements a lot of companies came to campus specifically IT comapnies and they offer a good salary.

Placement Experience

In the 7th semester students become eligible for the campus placements and are given access to the placement App. Famous IT companies like Capgemini, Accenture and LTI etc visits the campus and recruit a huge number of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is available on the website, every year the tuition fee increases. Complete cost of education would be something around 4 to 5 Lakh rupees. Some famous scholarships like Shahu maharaj scholarship and others are available for eligible students. Campus placements happen every year with subsatantial growth in the average salary package.

Campus Life

Antaragini is the annual fest and apart from this they also organise depatmental forums for every department. Library has ample number of books and they are all useful, students need not to buy any books as they are all available in the library. Campus is very small and they dont have any playground or anything.

Admission

Admissions are majorly on merit basis specially for branches like CSE, IT, AI and EnTC. Students must apply through CAP admissions process. The institute has 50% Hindu Minority Quota for those who have Mother tongue as Hindi. Once you are alloted the institute you can visit there and start the admission process. Admission process is quite smooth. Eligibility: Must have PCM in 12th and one entrance exam - CET or JEE Reservations are also available for Category students, detailes are available on their website. Some students can also take admission directly without any CAP process but then they will need to pay the whole fees of the institute and wont get any benefits of category.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
