I like the infrastructure of the NIT AGARTALA.
Campus is full of greenery and birds. And the nature too
Every season in this place is feels like a heaven

Dislikes

There is no availability of malls and food stalls
Transportation facilities are little bit difficult
National Institute of Technology is in the outside of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose biotechnology for the better future of mine. Atleast it has better future even in the foreign countries. When I was studying i chose online facility to improve my understanding and concepts to score more in the examination

In the semester of 7th / 8th we would get placement offers for a particular degree or a branch. In the records CSE department got approximately 50 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students getting placements increasing every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Im pursuing Biotechnology 4 years degree in the National Institute of Technology Agartala, i have to pay like ?6000 per semester (excluding hostel fee). The hostel fee would be ?20000. As much as we pursue the degree has the same repeated amount.

Campus Life

The first festival is celebrated in our college is 'DANDIYA NIGHTS'. It was a nice festival where we enjoyed a lot. About the library, if we talk, the books are provided so interesting and useful for the nice preparation.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provided for us , is a very nice. The rooms are nice . Very suitable for 2 persons. And about the meals is a nice quality. Menu has a variety kinds of meals and taste is a very nice. It can be also said as the average.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

I applied for the JEE exam in last year, I have got 79 percentile in the exam and I chose NIT Agartala, Biotechnology branch. When I was writing the exam it was 3 hours of full of confidence. And the city is kinda developing area.

All about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
