Faculties of the college are very good and supportive.
Labs and library are one of the best things in the college.
The active and motivating crowd of the college is most precious.

There are literally no sports facilities in the college
The college canteen and washrooms are not well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

As my college comes under University of Delhi, allover course and faculties are very good. The course involves subjects and computer languages that surely helps while placements. And if anyone opts for higher studies and great base becomes ready for that.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is very active.They continuously offer internships and placement are provided every year with moderate package. A placement fair is organized every year in the college where more than 30+ companies come for campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a three year course and the overall fee is 48,000 only. Every year various scholarship schemes are released by Delhi University, which can be opt by everyone fulfilling the criteria. Also the placement cell of the college is very active.And a placement fair is organized every year.

Campus Life

The crowd in the college is very good. Different societies are there in the college encouraging for all types of extracurricular and aim focus activities. The infrastructure is also very good. Computer labs, library, gym etc all are provided.

Admission

As it was covid time admission was done based on 12th marks. Cutoff off was very high that year. My best four subjects percentage was 91.25%...And I got admission on the 5th cutoff at 91% . I come in UR category but cutoffs for SC and ST caste were very low... nearly 75-80% .

Are off campuses worth the DU hype

Placement Experience:

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I don't know much about placements as a first year. But highest package is 23.5 LPA and median was 13 LPA. Companies visited were accenture, EY etc. the placement report for 2025 batch had not yet been uploaded on the website

Deshbandhu college, the hidden gem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons because i was interested in commerce and here too they provide top level learning. With computers they teach us excel and everything and its really nice in this technical era that we are continuously learnibg and learning. I even joined my internship and there too i used all my learnings from college. So overall i love this as i can focus on other things too

As per the reports only 30% gets placed and you should build outside relation with companies because companies over here you have not even heard of them, so it's like college not for placement average placement is about just 3.5 LPA

Students become Eligible for campus placements after in the 3rd year. The placements have been improved a lot in the past years. Companies like Pwc, kpmg, McKinsey, bain and Co come for campus placements. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum last year.

The admission process to this college was very simple & to the point. 1st of all an aspirant has to wait for the cut off to match to their eligibility criteria for any specific course they want to opt. After matching the cut off one should apply to the college online through Delhi University admission website's dashboard. Then the college will review your eligibility.
