Remarks

This is best thing happened to me. I got a very good placement from this college which helped me to link very good moments of my life to this institute. Best in class infrastructure, good faculty and sense of responsibility induced by college management make this one of the top rated colleges in Maharashtra and ma sure this will become one of the best colleges in India soon.

Entrance Preview

MIT is a very renowned college. Here, children get ready for the professional world. Few of my seniors from Diploma colleges were in touch with me before taking admissions here and looking at their positive Roadmap of future I decided to opt for this college. because most of them ended with either post graduation abroad or getting the very high paying job.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

On a grade of 1-10. I will give 8 marks for Polymer Engineering. The course polishes a person and makes him ready for an outer world where he can adapt to the technical field very easily, yielding very potential results in his professional career. The technical subjects like Processing of plastics, Machine design, Mold design, Polymer and structure relationships, Composites gives quality education which competes with the industry requirement very easily.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide internship for all courses. Only provides for Mechanical (Sandwich pattern) course. Where people use to get stipend above 3000 rupees every month for 6 months.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are excellent for Polymer Engineering course. I got placed in the Whirlpool Corporation in campus placements. The different companies come for placements are Bajaj, Tata Motors, Whirlpool Corporation, Reliance. Also, people who complete this course indulge in good marketing, manufacturing, technical career paths wherein one can see himself at 5-8 lakhs per annum every after his 5 years in corporate or technical life. People ending up in career after further studies tend to earn more in the same period.

College Events

4.5

Intercollege sports tournament is the very big event in MIT wherein cricket, volleyball, football, badminton are some of the major games one can contribute in. Regarding indoor games on can participate in Carom, Chess, Table tennis, etc. The sports committee is very helpful too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are a subjective subject actually. Here people from all classes come mostly affluent, the rich class can be seen. The fees are on the higher side. I took admission in 2007 and the fees were around ~61,000 rs every year. Now I came to know in 2017 it was above 1.25 lakhs rupees every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As people end up with CAP (Centralized admission process) most of the people come here through government quota. I was from one of the quotas under caste category. Here I availed the 50% discount on my fees. However, some students availed free ship too where they had to pay even fewer fees. There is no loan facility offered by the college as such.

Campus Life

4.5

The college itself looks like a university. Please find the college link attached. This shows a very good scenic view, especially in winters the area is very cold. The campus is very clean and very big and safe too which leads to a very good gender ratio in all departments. The college takes part in all India level Robotics games every year and ends up in top teams. A very big playground, upgraded labs, debates programs are very good helping children to understand various know how in professional life.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was not a part of the hostel facility. However, few of my friends were part of the same. The Hostel was good but the charges were on the higher side compare to if you stay outside of the facility. The food, however, were good and used to be served on time.

Alumni/Alumna

This is a very important thing in a student life. Personally, I am in touch with a lot of my seniors and Juniors around the globe. Personally, they are very helpful and they want people from India and especially to form their institute to shine around the globe. They are very helpful for helping during college time and during placement too.

Exam Structure

There are 8 semesters needs to complete in 4 years. One needs to pass with 40 marks minimum in each subject. If the person fails any subject he can attempt for the same subject 3 times more. The person having above than 65 % comes in the category of First class with distinction. The exam period tends to be very exhausting in nature seldom.

Admission

For Engineering one can opt for either of the process. 1) Post Diploma: One can directly get admission for the second year through CAP round which is Merit based. 2) Post 12th: One should have good marks in MH-CET. Based on the marks in MH-CET and your 12th class science marks merit based... One can get admission in Pune university and he/she will be able to see his name in main list where his name will be showed against different colleges. One has to confirm college preference too. If one gets this college then its a big luck factor. Mostly marks above 130 use to get select in our branch. Please note:- I got admission based on Diploma direct in second year.(Here, no option was provided so I selected 12th)

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly knowledgeable. Most of the faculty is post graduated, either Doctorate or Masters minimum. Excellent subject knowledge and some are themselves a consultant for professional companies too. The professional experience of some faculties help in understanding actual job scenarios in the better way and giving complete fruitful education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
