Course Curriculum Overview

Excellent Course and faculty members are good. There are three exams 1 mid terms 2 practicals 3 end terms Mid terms are of 10 or 15 marks according to credit hourse if course is 2+1 then the mid term will be of 15 marks and if course is of 1+1 then the mid term will be of 10 marks .. Likewise practicals will be of 35 of 2+1 course and 40 of 1+1

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 60400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of slef finance seats is 60400 approx And Normal seats is 20000 approx Scholarships are also provided for the students And other charges of Tour charges tuition fees are also included . Campus is not good but study is good here

Campus Life

Campus is not good. Because the campus building is under the Panchayti Raj training institution. And no facilities are here. There are 4 colleges of COHF Nauni solan 1 CoH Nauni 2 COF Nauni 3 Cohf Neri Hamirpur 4 Cohf Thunag Mandi. I'm talking about thunag mandi.... Because I'm studying here in bsc horticulture 3rd year

Admission

Cut off is 75 percent You can find the application form on the respective site of College of horticulture Nauni solan Classes are from 10am to 5 pm Admission is easy.. Your overall documents are required and after that counselling is there and students are selected on the basis of there percentage if you're self finance students... And for admission with normal seats you have to give a test that is taken by ICAR.

Life in Dr. YSP University Solan

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Tit bits about the agriculture university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as my father had studied the same course and had the same profession that I'm aiming for. For improvements i would like to recommend more practicals rather than theory classes as, practical knowledge is just as important as theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is a problem. There is very less gap between examinations which makes it difficult to prepare for the vast subjects. Plus, the marking is strict, and the criteria to pass the exams are also complicated.

This college was my first preference because of it's reputation and populatrity in country .I chose this college because some of my friends were studying in this college and they gave me positive reviews about this college making it my preference over other college.
