Campus experience and facility provided is good
Food items shops are also available and is very good
Stationary shops are there for students to buy anything

Dislikes

Hostel food is very bad and we cannot adjust
Washrooms are not clean and it should be done
Lab instruments are not working properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

Aerospace department is quite good as well as less conjusted as.. we have seen that in Computer science department there are so much students filled up. but aerospace engineering has many good qualities including a sub sonic wind tunnel. Faculties are well qualified and supportive towards students. We have regular tests and quizzes as well which is good.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our department aerospace engineering provides us internships if we want to and student itself can also avail it if he or she has any personal interest in anything internships are good for learning purpose

Fees and Financial Aid

The feees for the sem was the 1,10,000 but due to scholarship i got 10 percentage off on the fee.. We can pay fee in installments..as u have cucet you will get tge scholarship accordingly.Ghe hostel has no scholarship

Campus Life

Campus is really good and it is also very big every resource is there and many food items shops are available so that children can eat anything common library is also there so that any student can gain knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility according to me is not good as there is very less space in rooms and total 4 students are there in one room sometimes water facility is not good and washrooms are not clean mess food is bad

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Firstly i applied for an exam known as cuct that was held by Chandigarh University itself.. after that according to that exam i got scolarsgip and got admission in bachelor of engineering- Aerospace engineering

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
