Course Curriculum Overview

Masters in Geoinformatics was provided by the university. It was indeed a new course which opened the gate for technical education for various students. More advanced GIS techniques should be included in the syllabus for better

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

20000 rupees per year for course fees. Hostel and mess charges include a total of 3000 rupees per month. Since we have stayed for 2 years, a total of 1.2 lacs rupees were spent. No scholarships were provided. Placement statistics is not so good.

Campus Life

There were a few fest but not with much pomp and show. Central Library was there and a large number of books were there. Classrooms were good with advanced technologies. Sports and extra co-curricular activities were given much preference.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities were far better. Bathroom and washroom were provided inside each room. Rooms were quite spacious with balcony attached to it. Food was not upto the mark. Low quality of food was given.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

National level entrance test - CUET was conducted. Admission was purely in the basis of entrance and merit. I haven't availed any reservation benefits. Exams were conducted timely. Fees structure could be less.

Our particular course dint had any placement drives. But now, from this year they do have for M.Sc. DAN students too. I think its a good move. Other culinary department students had 100% placements as claimed by the University. After getting degree i am interested in pursuing my Ph.D.

I choose this course because I love biology and the only subject I got pretty good Mark's were for this. There are many students in the college. I think in my class there is 40 students. I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
