Remarks

well college was very clean ramajs is known for its greenery fresh air amphitheater auditorium all were good

Entrance Preview

i wanted to get admission in chemistry honours and ramajas is one of the best college in science for delhi university and also it is in north campus and i got this college in third cutoff. ramjas had stood many a time very apex in the field of science.so this is the main reason for me to opt for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

course curriculum is very sharp and in 2015 the delhi universty introduced the system which also involved studying of some novel methods and inventions in chemistry new practicals are being added and yes the course curriculum was very rich in quality and quantity too.

Internships Opportunities

not for science and that was very bad. we even dont have placement cell for science or something neither we had any exposure to internships.

Placement Experience

0.5

i told no placements and job opportunities were provided by the college but if i thinking of choosing job my own i think there options available but for science students no placements. i dont know the stats for commerce students but i think they get a good one.

College Events

3.5

centenial year celeberation: ramajs completed 100 years in 2017 so there was a lot whole year celeberation in the college college fests : awesome and fun freshers party farewell party promotions by movie stars 1. kapoor and sons 2.rock on 2 many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

feasible. it was 12000 approx for my course and i think its feasible because it contains both practical and theory fees. fee was to be paid in lumpsum for the whole year and my course was 3 year course so we had to pay 3 times for it. whole fees will come approx to 40k

Fees and Financial Aid

NO. i was availed of any scholarship and i am not sure of any student of any scholarship. delhi university fees is itself in budget .

Hostel Facilities

2.5

oh i was not in hostel neither of my friend so dont know much about it. seats are very limited in hostel and but the mess food i have heard is good and canteen food was fair and cheap.boys hostels and girls hostel were very apart each other. rating for hostel 3.5/5

Alumni/Alumna

yes. they were helpful in guiding . seniors were helpful in providing books and relevant information. but no relevant alumni network

Exam Structure

exam structure was: 1. 75 exam marks 2. 50 practicals 3. 25 internals exam was conducted within the college with strict invigilator. i had a maximum of 5 subjects. we had practical exams too in which external came and takes viva and also check the results of the experiments.

Admission

i secured 94.2% and my PCM was 95%. first i filled the common form for delhi university and based on cutoffs ramajas got its 3 cutoff in chemistry 95% and thus i went there with all my documents required and i filled the admission form get verified in the admission department then paid the fee.

Faculty

4

faculty of ramajas is the best faculty especially when it comes to our department i.e. chemistry department . as i told you new subjects were included so everyone put their hard efforts to make us understand . but a fewer ones were very bad (very few) overall i will rate 4/5

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
