CAMPUS:- if you love the nature and want to spend your four years of college in lap of nature then you must come.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:- the details institute maintains high standards and offers a wide range of UG,PG, and doctoral programs in engineering.
Faculty expertise:- my college is known for its experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields.

Dislikes

Connectivity and accessibility:- the geographical location of my college,while scenic may pose challenges in terms of accessibility and connectivity.
Security concern:-given the geopolitical situation, in the region, security concern may be factor for some students and their families.
Cultural adaptation:- the cultural diversity in my college be enriching, but it may also possess challenge for students from different parts of country.

Course Curriculum Overview

I recently doing metallurgy and Material science and iam pleased to share my thoughts on its curriculum.overall, I found the course curriculum to be highly relevant and comprehensive, offering a well rounded educational experience.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement in my college is decent, previous year one student got highest package of 52 lakh . Average of package of my college is around 7-8 lakh per annum. If I talk about my branch metallurgy the highest package in this branch is 13 lakh per annum and average is around 7.5lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of all NIT are almost same it is almost 160000 per year for which students which are fall on the income above 5 lakh per annum If your family income is less than 1 lakh then your tution fee is zero it is also applicable on sc/st. If your income is 1-5lakh then your tution fee will be 1/3

Campus Life

Specially in my college(nit srinagar) it's club culture is almost dead , just for saying it has all the club but no one is active . It has a beautiful cricket ground, and all the outdoor games ground . My college just near the DAL lake so it makes beautiful in terms of nature

Admission

To get any of NIT college,firstly you have to clear JEE mains with a decent percentile (approx above 94 percentile ) if your category are different then your cutoff criteria is also different just suppose if you are from general category then you to score at least 95 percentile, or if you are ews/obc then you to score above 92 percentile,or if you are from sc/St then above 85 percentile. After doing this examination NTA conduct a counselling which is known as JOSAA it has 6 no.of rounds in which you get seat and enrolled in that college

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

NIT SRINAGAR COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. The placement rate was of 108.38%.

Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Nit Srinagar the heaven

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students.
