After 6 semester placement starts overall it placement raito is fine around 70% got placed every year in chemical branch. Highest package of college was 47 lakhs in 2023 by oracle Average was 12 lacs My plans are for higher studies

There is no such scholarship from college but it is from the government. For understanding 1 lac fees criteria are different For 1 to 5 lac 1/3 of tuition ha s to be submitted For above 5 lac total fees 202000 ruppes per year

Campus Life

Overall experience was fine campus is beautiful built. There are snow and mountains bso soothing. Infrastructure is buid in around 67acres Laboratory and classes will fully equipped with equipment. Clubs of science and technology and sports clubs are there

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee is about 16000 per year. Hostel accomodation is good as new hostels are being built. Hostel have fans clean bathroom and big almiras , spacious rooms and daily cleaning is being done.proper water supply nd electricity is been provided

Admission

Entrance Exams: Admission to the undergraduate programs in IITs is based solely on the scores obtained in two entrance exams: JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE Mains: This is the first stage and serves as a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. It is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and tests your understanding of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. JEE Advanced: Only the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Mains (including reserved categories) are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. It's a more challenging exam focusing on deeper concepts in the same subjects. I scored 78 percentage in 12 th and took break of 1 year and cracked jee in 2023 with score of 89.03 percentile.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students.
