- In nit Calicut I liked is malyali girls and good environment here in campus
- Fests are best here .. during those days our campus becomes like a carnival
- Freedom here is great for students and life is good with meeting people from different states
Dislikes
- Attendance... actually we need have 80 % of attendance to write end sem exam
- Bad administration and people in high position are currupted
- There is language barrier in this college
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually curriculum of physics department is old as hell...these teachers also not good ..they just come and teach to walls and as per real life academic pursuits I haven't seen any thing good and teachers need to be little bit chill ,these teachers are worst in real life and the exams will be 1 1/2 months for midsem from start of sem and for 3 months for endsem .
Placement Experience
Actually I'm not into placements because of this physics department and their strict rules and I'm planning to prepare for upsc after my graduation and average package for our department is 12.5 lpa and highest is 38 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually here fee structure will be different for different people they are some students from other countries joining through dasa and some from same state and from other states.there will be scholarship for st students yearly from other state and there will be Kerala state scholarship for st students and fee structure is also different for people with bad economic background like below 5 laks and below one lakh
Campus Life
According to me infrastructure is good and there will be yearly 2 fests like tatva and ragam and regarding library case there is one central library for us and books are mostly for engineering studies only and facilities are like no air conditioning and little lack of responsibility and for sports my review is it's okay not so good and not so bad there are many clubs here to join
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are just okay and meals are real bad if you are a food lover and there is just routine food and 2 times daily non veg evening and afternoon and registration is through hostel app given by administration
Admission
I joined in nit calicut through josaa by writing jee and I took engineering physics branch in nit Calicut and about reservation benifits in nit Calicut is fee is around 12 for registration into sem and the nit Calicut is just average and this physics department is truly shit ...i suggest not to take in physics department in nit Calicut
Interview Experience
We have written jee and then according to our percentile we will be given admission and there will be 6 rounds of selection in josaa and i have studied mostly for 2 years during my +1 ,+2 ..and after that you will be called to campus for physical reporting and then classes will happen
