Management sometimes becomes little strict on students unnecessary. They also need to focus more on placements. But they are very supportive during the events and also don't m=cra=eate any strict rule at the college campus.

The college follows the course of MAKAUT(university) course which is followed by all private engineering college at West Bengal. The college organizes many training and workshops related to the subject/ stream. College also tries to help students to get the job by organizing many Aptitude classes, GD class, and mock interview.

The college does not provide directly any internship but in collaboration with "INTERNSHALA", they help the students to get an internship.

Placements were quite good before 2015. But after that, the placed students percentage decreased. Especially in ELECTRICAL and MECHANICAL branch placement is very poor. Though the no of placed students in CSE, IT, ECE is very good. Some well-known companies like TCS, Microsoft, Intel, Mindtree, Simplex come in campusing.

A lot of events are organized by different clubs of college. Quiz, MUN, Tech-Fest, Cultural Fest are organized throughout the year. Also, Ravindra Jayanti, Yoga day, Blood donation camp and different national events are celebrated. MSIT tech fest PARIDHI is the biggest tech fest in KOLKATA.

The fee structure is almost same as other private colleges. Approx 3.5- 3.8 lacks in 4 years. You don't need to pay the fee in one time. Before every semester exam, you need to pay the money for the semester. Each sem fees is approx 42-48k. Also, you have to pay the exam registration fee every time during university semester exam amount is 1500.

The college provides few scholarships to the needy students. For the details, you need to contact the Registrar of the college. Also, the fees are low for the students who get admission through Tfw quota.

College life is very good at MSIT campus. Seniors Junior's relationship is very friendly. This is ragging free college. Every year football, cricket, carrom, table tennis tournaments are organized. QUiz, Debates, MUN and also Robotics events are organized almost twice in a year in different level i.e inter college, Intra college. The college organizes lots of seminars, workshops during semester or semester break. College labs are very good and updated.

Seniors are very helpful the bonding is very good. College alumni also come to college during the events you also can contact them through Facebook groups.

I got 8k+ rank wbjee. I take part in wbjee councilling process. I got this college in the allotment. I went to college with my all wbjee rank card and results and allotments documents and Id proof. There we need to fill the registration form at college then verification was done by the college authority. Also, we had to pay the 1st year semester fee which was 40k approx in 2014. The process was very easy and the college staffs guided us throughout the process,
