Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus are so tough but still our teachers and other faculty members helps us to attain good grades. Teachers are so kind and friendly. Our department gives us freedom to do whatever we want. Thankyou

Placements are quite good I think. Some of our seniors got placed at many companies like ust, prakash, etc. Eventhough they are getting placements still it's not much good it's comparatively too low. Thank you

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available for students. People who are under sc/st category doesn't have to pay fees and students who had good grades in 12 th will get upto 20000 off every year unless they gets a backpaper

Campus Life

Campus Life is so awesome I really enjoyed my life at this college Only problem I faced is about the hostel they are too strict There many restrictions in our hostel. They won't give any freedom. We can't even talk to our friends

Hostel Facilities

Worst hostel life ever! Not at all allowed to talk to our friends. Always behave so rudely. Hostel is monitored by catholic manager. Sisters are looking after us. Our chief warden is one who lead all sisters to behave rudely

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission process was good but I forget bring some important documents. Labs are available with ac. Our department is fully fun. I love my college and teachers. But hostel is very strict. They are always rude to us.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. This i got into Jyothi engineering college Thrissur according to my rank. Couldn't apply to other colleges because the system works like that. If we get any college we should join there. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
