Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is flexible . There are many real world subjects like VLSI ,Microwave processing and all . The thing is they should start specializing from qst year itself and not from 2nd year . There are 3 exams in a semester and difficulty is moderate to difficult.
Placement Experience
The placements is centralized with main campus . There more than 250 companies that vists manipal . Most of them get placed and there are GPA criteria for each company and branch restrictions. About 80% gets placed
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no fees hike . The fees is fixed .1st year is 3.5 lakhs and from 2nd year it is 5 lakhs.The complete cosy is around 22 lakhs . You Get scholarship under Aicte quota about 40% reduction . If you re doing any good projects Manipal funds it
Campus Life
There are 2 fests which happen in a year ,Falak and rubaru. All the reference books are available in library . There are previous year question papers to prepare for semester exams . All labs are well equipped . Few clubs are active few are dead
Hostel Facilities
You get a bed ,chair table and other basic stuff . They give u a mug and bucket when join hostel with pillow and mattress . The mess food is decent depending on which mess provider you use . The registration of hostel is done when you pay for admission fees . The hostels are located inside campus only . But there are outside campus accommodation also
Admission
Admission happens through manipal entrance exam. There are no reservation benefits .The only extra quota is Nri quota . The exam was a bit avg difficulty. There were 2 time slots in a day u can sit in any one slot . There where 2 attempts and the best mark was chosen
