MET is required to apply to this college, admission is given based on your rank. MET includes MIT Manipal, MIT Bengaluru, MUJ, SMIT. KCET is NOT accepted for Manipal colleges as other websites state, they only take addmission based on MET. There are 4-5 rounds depending on availability of seats and you have to choose an order of preference of courses and accordingly are given a seat. I have scored 94 percentile in my jee so i waited for second attempt and wanted govt colleges. I dint think mych of private colleges. After my jee second attempt results i have applied for counclling and was sure i wouldn't get the course i want in any of the top colleges. I hve got scholarships in jain lpu satyabama dsu and few ap colleges through their entrances and jee results. I choose this college over other colleges i appplied for because of it's status and connectivity and the fact that it's in Bengaluru, the dilicon valley of India. I also choose this college because of it's placement scheme and i was also told about this college from my friends. I applied to colleges like VIT, PES, SRM. i couldnt get in VIT because my rank wasn't good enough fro the course i wanted to do. I applied for some colleges abroad but i got rejected in the high profile colleges i applied because my addmission letter wasn't simply good enough and also because i just applied to them as a back up so i didn't really give it my all. i Got in SRM chennai but i changed my mind about going there because of the fact that it is in chennai and it's really far. I got a really low rank in PES university so i couldn't get into it. To get into my college, you just need to apply for the MET manipal entrance exam test, get a good rank and voila!
