Beautiful campus, very well developed university
The faculty is so good, except few. Overall it's good

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well designed for CSE branch Especially for cybersecurity, data science The timing of exams and everything is perfectly organised But the level of the question papers in the examinations is veryyy muchh high Not that easy to score marks and get good gpa...

I don't have much idea as I am 1st yr student There are many companies offering internships with stipend , as said by seniors, students also start a startup which is very cool and college also helps us to startup a company

Students are eligible for placements from 6th sem for placements Many companies visited and many offers were made Highest package for a cse student is 50lakhs And average package is 10-12 lakhs Almost 90% students gets placements

Yearly fee for college is 4,86,000/- Caution deposit is 10,000/- Registration fee - 1200/- No reservations applicable Management is not there, seats are given based on Manipal entrance test(MET) Scholarships for students below rank 5000

Campus Life

Manipal is best for having a great campus life with focusing on academics and also social aspects There are plenty of clubs you can join into based on your interests The infrastructure is mind blowing The mess has great food

Hostel Facilities

We'll have option to choose double or single room Ac or non AC Each room has bed , drawer and study table chair and drawer, cupboards with a washroom Registration process is done in online It is a bit pricy but is is maintained very neatly

Admission

I choose this college because after IIT,IIIT,NIT's this was the best college I heard. And it is the best college with great faculty, curriculum, infrastructure, cultural, sports activities The infrastructure in the campus is crazzyyt than what you see in most of the campus

Faculty

Each class has arround 60-65 students..the classrooms enough big and it is smart building equipped all the things We start the academic year exams with quiz followed by mid term and then end term Assignments , projects and presentations and vivas are conducted in between them.

Night Life

We have gym, and indoor games basketball, badminton, football,tennis, volley ball courts Campus gates close at 9:30 and hostel gates close at 11pm The college is near to mall of asia, iskon temple and many other places

Mit Manipal Ground REALITY

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I have scored 94 percentile in my jee so i waited for second attempt and wanted govt colleges. I dint think mych of private colleges. After my jee second attempt results i have applied for counclling and was sure i wouldn't get the course i want in any of the top colleges. So i started writing entrance exams for met vit srm snu geetam dsu comedk emcet lpu and many more. Later after great research and suggestions from my siblings i decided to join in blr . I hve got scholarships in jain lpu satyabama dsu and few ap colleges through their entrances and jee results. The fee was decreased a lot i thought of joining jain but then my met councling of 1st round was over and i got cse ai . So i thought mit blr would be better for me than the main campus . Considering MIT banglore?

Colleges like srm vit bits which I have applied are some of the choices I choose and I also got confirmed admission from them but I rather choose MIT because one of the colleges tuition fee is too high compare to MIT and one of the colleges is in region where my parents dislike I am not only that I got rejected to an to a college name Woxsen in the interview round due to lack of technical skills I'm talking about my admission process of my college MIT Bangalore is that we need minimum 65 percentage in 12th boards and you need to apply for the college entrance exam name MET Manipal examination test which is the cost of ?5000 after writing the exam your rank is decided by considering 50% of your 12th boards percentage and 50% of your marks in the entrance exam and after you get a rank cut-off for a course stream is decided and is published then you are asked to through the stream by seeing the cut-off of the stream with respect to our rank after we select a stream you get a admission letter and asked to pay the tuition fee...Read More
