Campus life is full of fun and enjoyment. the campus is a ragging free campus. Where senior and junior act as friends. The ratio of the male is more in core departments i.e. electrical, mechanical and civil the picture changes for ECE IT CSE department. ROBOTICS event occurs twice a year. DEBATEs are conducted in the language lab. Labs are conducted according to the MAKAUT syllabus. The students are a sports freak.

There is no hostel within the campus. The official hostel is just opposite the college was known as the SAHARA hostel. The girls and boys hostel is separate. The food is moderate though not too tasty. Students may also arrange for their own mess. P.G is also available in the locality. A/c hostel is not available.

Senior students are very helpful the mix up with juniors as friends. The alumni members stay in connect with the college very frequently.

The exam structure is mainly divided into two parts. INTERNAL and External. Internal consists of unit tests , class attendance , daily interaction. External consists of 70 marks final examination. Exams and Labs are frequent but not at all hectic. Students should attend all the lab and exams. Students with low attendance cannot appear for the exams.

The faculty members are extremely educated and knowledgeable and wise. Students may reach to the teacher after the class for clearing the doubt. Most of the faculty members are PhD degree holders or m.phil or m.sc. The faculty of this college ranks above most of the college in west Bengal.
