Remarks

College Management completely stands over the manager. None other have any major role in anything. But as of the college is a Trust organization if we want to sanction any financial thing, we must get sanction from all top 3 management entities and need to get 3 signs in a check leaf.

Entrance Preview

I had attended Engineering Entrance Exam (KEAM). I joined in Ilahia on Muslim Quota Merit Seat. So My fee was 65k per year. again I got a fee waiver of 25k yearly. So my net fee was 40k I opted for this because I love Computer Science and the college was near my hometown itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually, Course curriculum as in my course was not so good. because as you know at my time it was MG university. They give more importance to the old systems and theory in every aspect. I prefer more practicals and I think Kerala Technical University has now taken those aspects into account. According to me, KTU will be best for a student in every manner because now they are not teaching students, it's more over like training them in their field. That's what I love about practical. Practice makes a man perfect!

Internships Opportunities

Yes, But Its also moreover like a training program. I don't know if I can call it as an internship. But in any case in Ilahia we got a lot more than just being a bookworm. We got an excellent knowledge of the real-world experience within the college.

College Events

5

The celebration is always a part of our college life. We have celebrated Onam celebrations, Christmas celebration, Arts Fest, Technical Fest, and this is how the famous Obscura tech fest of Ilahia came into existence. Also, the non-official celebration was celebrated by students also happened sometimes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure was always feasible. I study in a merit seat and I have a fee waiver. Honestly, I don't know it as over expensive. But fee structure was always feasible so that it can be paid any time in the year. Again I have known some of my friends who have difficult financial situations. The Management has avoided their fee completely for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There when a lot of scholarship programs were going on. I got 1 fee waiver of 25k per anum. Other scholarships like Maulana Azad etc were also present. The scholarships where to be applied in 1st year itself so we can get it in the next year, that is in the 2nd year.

Campus Life

5

I can't say as the best campus life one can have but it was good. Majority of students in the college was Muslims. But that doesn't affect or influence any of us in the campus. Everyone stands as one in every event such as cultural, tech fest, inter-college meets and so on.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel fee is also moderate and affordable. It's so affordable because the majority of students of Ilahia are from Malappuram Calicat placed. They all preferred our college hostel itself even though they had the chance of arranging accommodation elsewhere.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a good relationship between seniors, and every one of them helps us in academics as well. It will be like an ideal senior-junior relationship and so good to be true. but that was the thing in our college. Again fights between 2 branches also were there.

Exam Structure

There were 6 exams per year. 2 class test 2 series test 1 model exam and of course a university exam. Exams are conducted very strictly and internals was allotted by the results of those exams. Students who face low marks in internal exams were given special remedial classes also for their improvement.

Admission

First I got my rank list and I went to the college with it. They asked for a donation in management quota. It was around 50K I think. I didn't take that offer and I waited for my single window allotment. I got admission in ECE in the allotment and I joined ECE. And within 1 week I transferred into computer science as I requested in college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was so good. That's what I can't deny. Because almost every faculty of Ilahia College of Engineering and Technolgy are well trained and well-experienced professionals. Whatever your doubts maybe you can clear it from them. In faculty selection, ICET has done a great step, Which ensures the quality of the one who guides every student.
