The administration of college is too good they help you with all your queries

Dislikes

The strict attendence criteria is not likable for me you have to maintain a certain level of attendence percentage to sit in your semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Bcom program because I am from commerce background. It was the most suitable course for me in my opinion because I had interest in the finance related subjects like Accounting, Business Management etc. The practical knowledge about the real financial world influenced me to chose bcom. The teaching methods of teachers are already good they are giving their hindered percent in the practical knowledge. The difficulty level of bcom program is not that difficult it's bit easy you can pursue any other course like CA,CS,CMA and any other course along with it.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 14670 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my college (SBSEC) fluctuates every year in first year of my college I paid 11600 rs but in second year I paid 14670. I don't know the reason of this fee hike. The complete cost of my course is approximately 50,000 excluding my transportation expenses. The financial help which is provided by the University is Financial Support Scheme in which the students got refund their course fee upto 10,000 and there are many scholarships available for students. The students have the opportunity to get into an internship by the college by placement cell.

Campus Life

My overall experience is good. The society's of the college make amazing fests every year. The students participate I it and have fun. There are a large number of books and journals Present in the library. We can issue the books for atmost 15 days. The campus have a separate sports room in which we can play different games like chess and table tennis. The college organizes sports day. We have a online portal named ERP portal in which we can check our attendance and any notices.

Admission

I took admission in year 2022 by the cuet exam which was compulsory to got admission in Delhi University.The eligibility of the bcom program course is you have to choose Language+any 3 subject in which accounts is compulsory. I got 650 score and then I selected my preferences after that I got admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Evening).

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

I personally preferred an evening college compared to the off campus colleges nd somewhere i feel that my descision was correct. In future I'll be preparing for government examinations so for that matter evening timings are better for me as compared to morning. According to the scores which i got, this is the best college I could get and m very much happy about it. Being in the evening shift i made freinds from the morning shifts as well and at the end i realized that it's all same. Admission in Delhi University is purely merit based of CUET. One can take admission in this college by writing CUET exam and scoring certain marks for it. The application process was long and thorough. Select a cource, fill credentials, write CUET, and score good marks then prepare the preference list rightly and you'll get college based on your marks.
