Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The most important aspect of choosing the MBBS course is that you learn how to respect each and every person around you. The course and curriculum makes you learn about the value of time, meaning of life and how to use small time to be happy in a busy schedule. The curriculum makes us realize and help to be tough enough to fight with any situation at any hour of the day. We get to know the human body, all it's aspects and the most important is the diagnosis of body. The hospital duties help to practice our theory knowledge. The suggestion is that the writing parts the manuals and log books should be a bit less so that we get to study a little bit more. The difficult level is medium so that all the students who study can pass it.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is no company and anything because we are in a medical college. We have one year internship period which occurs after 4 years of college. After completing the internship we have to do a two year bond duty in rural area.

Fees and Financial Aid

The policy of fees should be a bit liberal and a bit less so that everyone can afford it. The complete cost of my education is 313000.There are many scholarship for students but only for state quota students. We are in first year so we haven't done any job roles

Campus Life

3.5

The name of our annual festival is enigma. It is celebrated once in a year. The range of the books available is large enough for complete study of our course and the accessibility is also liberal. Our classrooms have smart TV , microphone, speakers and each classroom has six to eight air conditioner. Our campus has a huge indoor games room where we all tennis, badminton, chess, etc. Outdoor has basketball and volleyball. There is a dance group called ectopic beats and a band group called nad. And a student unoin group which leads all the student programs.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

We do not get room in first year we only get dormitory. In the dormitory we have fan , bed, almirah and a washroom. The meal quality and quantity is good and taste good. In the menu we have different kind of seasonal vegetables and nonveg also. We have to fill an offline form to get hostel and yes it is affordable. For the first two months we were in pg which was in devendra nagar.

Admission

The eligibility for my course is to qualify the NEET exam. You have to compete with lakhs of students to qualify and get admission. The application forms of NEET is available online and offline. You have to submit your 10 and 12 standard marksheet and many other documents to confirm your eligibility. The exam is conducted once a year. And the timing is afternoon 2 to 5 pm. The difficulty level is good enough to filter out the bright students to get selection from the huge crowd of lakhs. The suggestion is that the form fees should be a bit less

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
