Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always had an interest in Aerospace Engineering and after IITs I think this would be the best college for that.Faculty ratio is about 1:10.I found that the faculty are very helpful.Exams were held very regularly which had mediocre difficulty. faculties were quite qualified .

Internships Opportunities

4

Types of Internships: Internship opportunities may span various sectors, including software development, hardware design, civil engineering projects, electronics and communication, mechanical engineering, and more. The diversity of internships allows students to explore their interests and gain exposure to different industries. Project-Based Internships: Some internships involve working on real projects or problem statements provided by companies. This hands-on experience helps students develop practical skills and understand the application of their academic knowledge. Academic Credits: In some cases, internships may be a mandatory part of the curriculum, and students may earn academic credits for successfully completing their internships.

Placement Experience

5

I think from 5th semester students become eligible for placements. For aerospace engineering various companies have come for placements such as Airbus Boeing, Tejas Aerospace etc which have provided a package of around 10 lacs. Highest package in core would be from Airbus for 12 lacs probably and lowest 4 lacs. Around 80% of students were placed. After getting the degree I would like to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think fee structure is fair for a college in Bangalore.i have not had any fee hike as of now.I did not avail any Scholarship or reservation as of now by the college.I think the fees will hike over the years as the college is putting a lot of money into construction and new buildings while also improving the infrastructure.

Campus Life

5

Life at campus can be exhaustive because of regular exams and quizzes held by the college. There is a wide availability of books and journals in the college library which is free of cost. There are a lot of Sports and extracurricular activities happening in the college. We have a fest almost every other month by the college clubs.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are very accommodating and fairly big which contains a single fan in a room of 2 people .we are provided with Table chair and an almirah.Meal quality is really bad and menu is repetitive.you have to register when you come for Branch registration at the college.I would say it is fairly affordable and the hostel is good for the price of 1.23 Lac per year.

Admission

My admission process was through ComedK exam which was held in my city Jaipur. I was eligible for the course because it had the Eligibility of Scoring more than 60% in PCM in Board Exams which I got fairly easily.I found out the application form and other things on ComedK website and other websites such as college dunia/college pravesh. Admission process is fairly longer as we have to travel from our own city to Bangalore just for registration and then come back.I did not avail any benifits through reservation.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
