- the labs are quite good , the college spends money on the equipments
- there are no distractions , the EL or the project based learning is really helpful
- the crowd is good , if you have good friends
Dislikes
- very less social life and the clubs are not active
- the college infrastructure is quite old and they are boring
- college gives spl importance for the people from management quota
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose was because of my interest the faculty-student ratio is around 1:20 the teachers are highly qualified, some of them have done Ph.D. too the teaching method is really impressive , you will be asked to work on a project from the 1st semester itself , which helps you alot the exams were according to the academic calendar but we are slightly behind as compared to other , it's very easy to pass the exams and score around 80%
Internships Opportunities
Oracle , HPE , deloitte, adobe , Eli lilly , EY , PAYPAL,flipkart,Dell , maruti suzuki ,RIL, british telecom,vedanta ,TVS motors, airbus, microchip technologies,act fibernet , ather energy,nutanix, the stipend varies but it's around 10lpa avg,
Placement Experience
Students from 3rd year are eligible for placements and around 100 companies visited campus and gave around 1000 offers highest package was 96lpa, and in cs related branches the average package is 25lpa and in the lower branches it is around 12 - 14lpa (if you are decent in studies and work hard) around 70-80% people get placed from each branch and my plans after getting degree is to go into startup
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is bit on the higher side if you come through COMEDK , the fees they collect is not at all worth it and scholarships are only for the KCET students and Karnataka domicile students. and you can't find any jobs on campus
Campus Life
The social life is quite less and the annual fest happens once in 2 years tech fest is not there and books and journals are also quite less classrooms are also very basic not like the ones you expect in a private college given the high fees you pay sports is also 0 social clubs are fine but not so active
Admission
Eligibility - 12th class COMEDK entrance exam, the form cost 1800rs, application date is approximate till feb I did not avail any reservation, but there are reservations for Hyderabad Karnataka region The comedk process could have been completed within a month but they took bit more time
