The environment is really very peaceful for studying.
College position is near highway so it's not very hard to go there.
Internet availability is here which is good for us.

Dislikes

Playground should be increased for that students can play easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course in my interest. There are 5 faculty members in our department and there will be appropriately 40 students. There are 5 assistant professors and their teaching methodology is so good and understandable. Exams are taken in time and question papers are made in moderate manner and not so difficult to pass.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We , the students had to pay fees 2 times in a year one is semester admission fees and another is examination form filling up fees and that is approximately equal to 9000. We are eligible to apply for SVMCM scholarship.

Campus Life

The name of annual fest is Manzil 2.0 and it helps in the month of December every year. There is many types of books in our library in each subjects. Our college organise annual sports once in a year. There is a student union which is for any kind of help for students.

Admission

Eligibility was 12 th passed with 50% aggregate marks. Application form , application fees and application dates are provided in the official website of Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya. Reservation details are not given to anyone if anyone is interested they can contact officials. Need to improve the college website for making payments.

A college wih greate oppotunies if you want to grab it

Placement Experience:

Placements this year are very good and lots of students are placed on campus with very high to pretty decent salaries. The average salary is around 16 Lpa which reflects the excellent performance of students availing for placements. But in case if someone is not placed they can apply off campus and get a job with the help of a strong alumni network.

Placement Experience:

The job placement was good because maximum students got job offered by college.From 7 th semester the students are eligible for campus placement.There are various companies which offered job like TCS, MICROSOFT, WIPRO,ITC,HCL, GOOGLE,INDIAN NAVY AND ARMY etc.The highest package is 15 lakh in my time and average package is 4lakh .97% students got placed through college placement.i will do job for 2 years then I will prepare for upsc it's my plan.

Remarks:

Because it provided the stream that I was interested in. This was the only University in West Bengal which provided this stream. Plus the faculty was nice and the location was convenient as well. The counselling and the aid given in career placement is also commendable.

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students got placed from college in major companies like Skechers, Firstcry and Etsy. I don't know the salary packages offered. But most of the companies mentioned above were offering the salary package ranging between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. I would give an average rating because of my personal experience with the placement cell after I left college. Almost 80% of the students got placed, and the remaining either opted for pursuing higher studies or were not ready for a job right now.

Everything things is positive it feels like second home. Environment are very good in nature. Nearby city are very good. From burdwan railway station to college is very less distance. Twenty four hour facility transport available.
