Above Average experience, Campusing is good

College faculty and courses are good. But should improve the lab facility because there are plenty labs but some equipment is outdated or nonfunctional. And canteen food should be improved.

For the admission in BCA there is no need to give any exam. If you have computer or math subject and english subject in H.S. and scored must be above 50% then you are eligible for admission. I had computer and english in 12th standard so i did get direct admission for BCA in this college. I search for colleges to get admission in BCA in nadia, and found this is better than other colleges available near me, so i opt in for this college.

I did get admitted in BCA, this is a 3years course which is divided into 6 semester. Every semester there is 5 written subjects and 2 lab subjects. Classes held 5 days in a week and there is plenty of classes being held for each subjects. And every subject almost have different teachers. And students are divided into small groups and provided under mentors from faculty. The lab subjects are being taught in lab for plenty of time, and labs are almost good enough.

As I have just got in 3rd year, I still is not eligible for internship, at the end of third year the intership is being held. But from the information provided by my seniors who are alrdy graduated and are doing jobs provied by the companys which come to our colleges, I can say that for providing internship there are plenty of companys come to our colleges and hire students for training and jobs. Companies like wipro,TCS and some leading companies from IT sectors came every year for providing internship for BCA and IT students.

As I am just in starting if 3rd year I am not eligible for placement till the ending of 3rd year. But from the experience of my seniors who have been graduated this year I can say that this year ITC INFOTECH, WIPRO,TCS and some leading IT Companies had come to offer jobs in this college for BCA and IT students. In this year 8 students got jobs among 24 students from BCA in different company with the salary package of 2lakh to 4lakh per Annum. But if you score more and have talent then can got job with higher salary packages.

The first event is the orientation program and freshers program for 1st year students only. Then a foundation day of college program is being held in college. And there often some seminar going on for some particular department in the auditorium room. And Every year a Tech Fest is being organised for the whole college and some associated schools, this is a big event. Different competing on different fields dance,singing, tech are being held in this event. And from every department 8-10 projects are being presented in this event. It is a great event to show your creativity through projects presentation.

The total fees of BCA in 3years is Rs.206000/- In the time of admission have to pay Rs.26000/- as admission fees and Rs.30000/- as 1st semester fees. BCA has total 6 semester. so, then for remaining 5 semester Rs.30000/- each before each semester starts.

There is student loan offered by college but to get that loan you have to be eligible and meets requirements for the loan. But I haven't taken loan so I can't elaborate that process.

The gender ration of the college is like 55%male and 45% students in my point of view. There are no such parties in this college. For every department offent in holidays some workshop are being held for the students who are willing. In this college there zero politics. There was some cases of ragging have been heard before some years, but from past 3-5 years college have taken some bold steps towards ragging, so there is no ragging in this college, though there is a anti-ragging committee in the college always for help.

Mess rent is around Rs.1000-2000/- in sharing with others. And for the food, it will cost around Rs.4500-6000/- The food quality is pretty good and facility for the living is enough. The local market is nearby so it is very easy to fulfill any requirement. And if you leave in the college hostel it will cost around Rs.5000/- per month the room of hostels are pretty average and food quality is ok, not that great but manageable.

Seniors are always helpful if you can build a bond with them. They always give advice and notices. And help if any problems occur regarding education purpose.

In BCA there is the total of 6 semesters. Every semester duration is 6months. And in those 6 months total of 2 internal exams are being held and then finally semester exam, which is 5 written subjects and 2 lab subjects. So this is like every 1-2 months there is an exam. And the attendance should be above 75% unless you are not eligible for sitting in exams. So you gotta do the class regularly.

As to get admission in BCA in this college, there is no need of give entrance exam, I did get admitted directly in the college as I had Computer and English. Directly went in the college and fill up the admission form offline and sir update it in the online, and paid the fees of admission and the first semester on the spot by Demand Draft. And the rest semester fees are needed to be paid before starting every semester. Then the class had been started around August month.

The faculty is quite helpful towards all students. And in each department students are being divided into small groups and all those small groups are under each mentor from the department. If students need anything they can directly contact and consult with their mentor and get the job done. I am in BCA and there is a department of BCA which includes 5 teachers, and some teacher from IT and math department also takes our classes.
