Overall this college is good except the fact that management doesn't directly listen to what students have to say and they tend to follow the same old pattern of passing job to people under them.

I got into this college through KCET by securing a rank of around 6000. I had seen good reviews about this college and a cousin of mine used to study here that's why I chose it.

The course we follow is the 2015 choice based credit system scheme of vtu which is a technical university of Karnataka. The course is much better than the previous schemes but compared to what is being taught in other universities, it lacks many thinks and it is pretty much behind competition wise.

Yes internship opportunities are provided in our college. Our internship cell has collaborated with internshala too this year and we'll be getting better opportunities from this time around. Various teachers work hard enough to help get us a good internship. Stipend generally varies from company to company but i have seen people getting a stipend of around 25000 per month.

Placement is really good since this college has its own placement cell and it is amongst the tip ranked college in bengaluru. The highest package offered this year was of around 20lakhs. On an average, the package is of around 6 lakhs and a lot of companies come for placement. The top recruiters include Amazon, directi, endurance etc

There are various technical as well as cultural festivals that are celebrated in our college. Department festivals are conducted from time to time every year and main college festival named utsaha is also celebrated during the month of april. Apart from that hostel festival is also celebrated in which hostilities do various activities like singing dancing etc

The fee structure is different for each category. For kcet the yearly cost is around 70k including miscellaneous charges and all. For comedk students the charges are around 2 lakhs per annum including all the miscellaneous and exam fees. For management students an initial value has to be given to the college and then every year their cost is same as that of comedk.

No. I have never heard of any scholarships being given from the college side towards any student as such. Though aicte has provided scholarship to j&k students and they are studying here at effectively zero cost.

They college life we see in movies ain't the one you'll see here. It's just as the title of this review says. It's school only, the only difference being you are able to wear whatever you want to. Otherwise the campus life ain't a magical situation. The gender ratio is good and overall there almost equal boys to girls ratio.many extracurricular activities are there in our college. Various sports are pursued by students and we host the north Bangalore basketball on our campus.

The hostel is better than another hostel i have seen in my life. The facilities are good and the maintenance is also good. The staff is not good towards us but that is manageable. As for food, it gets changed after discussing in meetings. Sometimes the food is really well cooked and sometimes isn't edible. That depends on how the cook is cooking that day. Otherwise it is good enough.

The alumni network is very good and many alumni come back here to guide current batches for furthur guidance. Alumni meets are also organised timely. Senior students are really helpful and they are the one we go to when we have any problem.

The classes are generally hectic and there's no off day on saturday through its a half day. There are two labs each semester and 6 theory subjects and each week there are 2 lab periods of 3 hrs each and 4 classes of each theory subject of 1 hr length. The exams are conducted twice for each lab in a semester and finally the external university exams for each lab is conducted. As for theory three internal exams are conducted and one external exam is conducted.

I had given my kcet exam in may 2016. After that we got the results around ending may and rank was also released shortly afterwards. After this we had to come to bengaluru to get the verification done at the kea office in malleshwaram. I got my unique key and that is used to enter the colleges which u wanna opt for and the courses in it. Based on my rank i was then alloted thia college and i took my allotment letter and got admission here.

The teachers are of all types. There are lenient,strict, friendly,not so friendly and all other types of faculty members. But all of them are well qualified with many having masters and phd and others Currently pursuing it. Majority of them are helpful towards us but there are some who don't help that much and we have to do all the work by ourselves there. On an average you'll find helpful and kind teachers.
