Presidency University: Where Heritage meets Enlightened Minds

The course in Presidency is just a dream come true for every student who want to be into Academics. The only reason to choose this college was its curriculum and highly prestigious faculty and ambience of the 207 years old heritage building. I am fortunate that my college provides me with courses of Jewish History and Many other exciting themes to study and work with. There are regular CAs and IAs are conducted to check our performances and our professors train us to write good research articles and think innovatively through IAs by conducting it in a form of writing a research paper. Our college also conducts UG dissertation where we learn to write and think new research ideas and work with primary and secondary sources supervised by our professors.

The cost of study is very minimal and the scholarships are provided to the students based on their merit. There are many awards and scholarship programmes as well as student exchange programmes for students based on merit.

The campus life is ausome. Presidency is a vibe in itself. There is a different feeling of belongingness in the campus. There are various cultural and educational grouos and associations that often conduct seminars and lectures and movie screenings. As well as every one feels a freedom a free environment to nurture their knowledge here.

As I belong from a covid batch there was no entrance exam held by the college but admission was conducted on the basis of our class 10 and 12 marks and seven lists were published. The application and all notices were available in the official website. However after our batch the college has begun conducting its entrance exam called PUBDET.
