I chose IIT KGp over all the other colleges i applied for because of it's academic reputation, big campus placement opportunites and good infrastructure. i was getting a confirmed addmission in DU but they were not providing any hostel facilities and IITKGP provides really strong security without any restriction and gives equal opportunities for both boys and girls....Read More

My decision for choosing this college was its presence in the country for so long time making it the oldest IIT giving it huge reputation and opening a wide range of opportunities of all kind. People here can pursue a profession completely different from their dream, can build start-ups and even go for reasearch.
