as at this rank i have not much options in iit kgp so i go for this course . still its faculty avaoilable in college is very good and cooperative.the faculty student ration in college is 1:30 which is quite good.facultiers are highly qualified and phd scholars and have teaching experiance more than 10 years.their teaching methods is alos very good.exams are conducted twice in semester in which mid sem is easy but end sem is quite tough.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

as now i am in first year so i dont have much idea about internships but according to seniors the highest paying internships are often in the technology sector particularly in software and data science and coumputer science related engineering

Placement Experience

IIT Kharagpur is well known for it's placement, many wll known companies visits kharagpur during placement time like google,facebook, amazon etc.also the placement ratio is also very well .even though some student dont get placement but its ratio is very less compaired than the success ratio .my plan is for UPSC thats why it one of the best colledge for me

Fees and Financial Aid

it takes total of 1,00,000 rupees tuition fee per semester for genrals and for me ,as my family income i less than 5,00,000,it takes 33,333 rupees per semester from me. mess fee and hostel fee is same for everyone which is about 32,000-50,000. there are scholarship which are helpfull for students and also greater financial assistance.but according to my opinion the fee structure balanced by their top facilities.

Campus Life

the campus life in iit kgp is amazing.also social life is veryb good.we have asias biggest techno management fest kshitij and cultural fest spring fest organised in january annually. iit kgp have asias bbiggest digital library which provides all varities and diversities of books to stdudents.also classrooms are also huge and sophisticated.sports facilities are also good and it provides all type of neccessities thgat requiores for sports.also there is also extra curriculum activities conducted by gymkhana which is full of joy.there are many clubs and societies under the gymkhana such as pravah,awaaz,e cell,kodeikgp etc which provides lot of experiance.

Admission

i appered in jee adv.then through josaa councelling i get admission in iit kgp.i get seat through obc reservation . provide the transperent and detail information about all branches and courses that is available in colleges.

I choose my course that chemistry because of the fact that I had got the rank that came under it and another reason is chemistry department is quite old here even if kanpur chemistry department is better for core, you will get chance for non core too here. Life at IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in IIT KGP in comparison to other colleges. People are eligible to sit for placements in their fourth year can sit for placements through CDC. The placements are held in two phases. In session 24-25, we have seen 1000+ offers to students in first phase. After getting degree, I would also go for doing job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course for the first year is easy overall , maybe challenging for biology students because involvement of Maths in the curriculum but they can decrease their load by practicing Maths problems, asking doubts, approaching the instructors or their personal mentors. Otherwise the course is mixed in a good way with theoretical and practical part. Labs are conducted of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and CS in first year. You can choose CS as an minor in higher classes.

I was preparing for the medical exam in 2014-2016, i appeared in 2016 AIPMT exam 2016, but did not get better college and so i heard about IISER exam that we can we go for higher study from here. i was interested that i can go to the medical research after completing my degree from IISER. yes we can go to ICMR and research field in any department if you have qualified from IISER with your dedication. you can go foreign for higher study like Phd. There shoud be more laboratry so that it easy for individual practices. The exam taken in IISER is semester wise with fraction like mid sem and end sem. with the perfect schedule. The exam of IISER is good level in each deparments.

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
