Good for internship and placement opoot

I choose Mechanical engineering because I was interested in this course and the college is very old and renowned as well. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:20. All the facilities have their PhD completed. The teaching methods is quite good and students can easily understand their language, everyone can ask anydoubt .In a semester 2 exams are conducted, one mid semester exam after around one and a half month, and another end semester exam after around 4 months

In the third year itself we will be doing internship through CDC ( courier development centre)available in the campus. Although I have not yet done any sort of internship so I have not much knowledge about that .

For students availing btech 4year course ,on campus intership is offered in the 3rd year while for those availing 5 year course it is in the 4th year . A large number of companies come in he campus for placements as well as for internship like Google Microsoft Amazon Morgan Stanley etc .around 90%+ students got selected in he placements till the end of the placement season

Per semester college fees is 1 lakh and fees for hostel and mess is around 45000. There are many scholarships available in the college according to family income ,it can give fee waiver for college fees .Also there are many other scholarships available like MCM,FFE, Reliance industries

The life at IITs is interesting. You can explore everything after from academics also , like sports, music, drama, tech-related things , etc. Two major fests fo iits kharagpur are spring fests and khitij.A large number of books are available in the library related to every field .In extracurricular activities Sports are there . You can join societies which can help improve your soft skills

In the hostel room there is a cupboard, table ,chair, and a bed.Meal quality is good and healthy. You can register for hostel during registration process. It is provided by hall management centre of IIT Kharagpur.

For getting admission into IITs, you have to clear jee mains as well as jee advanced .Jee mains are conducted twice in a year, you have to clear cutoff for jee advanced in either of the two .Form of jee mains as well as jee advanced can be found on the official website of nta and jee advanced respectively. Application fees for jee mains is 1000 and for jee advanced it is 3000.Various reservation benifits are available for SC,ST,OBC,EWS?PWD and females as well. After you got selected in IIT you have to do counseling for choosing college.For counselling knowledge of branchwise cutoff and priority order of college over branch or branch over college .I really found it difficult to gather those informations .this can be improved
