Likes

The coding culture has to be one of the things that's praiseworthy here.
Another thing that I liked about MNNIT was the supportive nature of the seniors.
I've never witnessed any sort of ragging taking place.

Dislikes

The schedule is overly hectic which makes it really difficult to participate in other activities.
I subjectively believe that we're not getting enough breaks and holidays.
Infrastructure is really old and is not in a great shape.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had decided to opt for one of the circuital branches that include CSE, ECE and EE. Not to mention, the extraordinally good placements. Faculty to students ratio in my opinion isn't that great, like there are a lot more students than there are teachers of course. The faculty here is very qualified although they could work on their teaching methods.

Internships Opportunities

Again, as far as internship opportunities are concerned MNNIT, Allahabad has to be there among the top 5 NITs. Many well known companies visit the campus for internship drive. Also the coding culture is amazing.

Placement Experience

The placements of Motilal Nehru Institute of Technology, Allahabad are extraordinally good. It is among the top 5 NIT's when it comes to placements. If I'm not mistaken, students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty balanced and transparent in my opinion. However, I do believe the mess fee a tad bit too high. Not only that, but the mess food is legitimately bottom tier. And yes, scholarships are offered to the top 5 students from each brach every year.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is nothing out of the ordinary, it's basically what you'd expect coming to a government college. Culrav is MNNIT's annual fest and AAVISHKAR is the annual tech fest. Culruv is usually conducted in April whereas the latter is usually conducted around November.

Hostel Facilities

I'll be honest here, hostel facilities are objectively not that great. Mess food again is not worth the amount we're having to pay for it. Registration process for the hostel however, is really simple.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Eligibility was based on ranks secured in JEE Mains. Admission process included JOSAA COUNSELLING, followed by physical registration on the college campus. I did not avail any reservation benefits. As for improvements, I'd want the physical registration process to not be as chaotic as it was.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Everything about SNU NOIDA!

Placement Experience:

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
