Likes
- Campus, teachers, peers, societies I did like the societies because you learn a lot by being a part of it and meet people of different departments helps in building connections.
Dislikes
- the social life here is very dull, there are some toxic people also so you have to aware of the people who are good for you and bad.
Course Curriculum Overview
I preferred bcom hons but could not clear the cut off and got bcom programme, to be honest you have to study on your own, the teachers will take classes but you cannot solely depend on them, we did not have any mid term examination, only had semester end exams so we did not have much idea about how the paper pattern will be but the seniors were quit helpful.
Internships Opportunities
the college provides many internship opportunities in many reputed companies as I am a first-year student I do not have much knowledge about it, but the annual report provides all the details, you can check that out
Placement Experience
As I am a first-year student I don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite reasonable which is approximately 16,000 for the whole year, but the hostel fee is 80000, there are scholarships for teaching staff students, OBC, ST, and SC students. the placements are good with an average of 7,20,000 which is a good start after graduation.
Campus Life
There are no fest held in Ramjas College but there are events by NSS and other societies, the library is good, the classrooms are average, the college environment is sports-friendly, and there are many societies to join.
Hostel Facilities
There is a bed, table, chair, almirah, dressing table and a drawer, the food quality is really good, it is quite safe and affordable as compared to PG's and hostel outside the college, also it's on the campus so it is quite convenient as well.
Admission
The admission process was lengthy and took almost 2-3 months to fully complete the process. I applied for bcom programme and it require 3 core subjects and one language, the admission was based on the score of CUET UG which costed around 1500 rupess, the examination was held in the month of may and result came in july which was a little late.
