Remarks

Our college takes admission via wbjee jee mains just like any other engineering colleges. Quoatas like st sc are available and the eligibility criteria is also different for them. We have management quoata as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Msit is makaut affiliated and makaut as an university is hard to understand. Generally our exams are scheduled in 6 months of interval. But in first year you'll not get as much time required as the admissions process takes a lot of time. It's not on college or the university It depends on the counceiling. Anyway the faculty is fairly good we get required lab classes.The required components are also provided. Even if it's cse you have to study everything from economics to biology and in practical you'll go through civil and mechanical workshops too

Placement Experience

From the beginning or 4th year or 7th sem the students are eligible for campusing. 4.85 lakhs per anum is the average placement our college has. And the maximum is 32lpa until today. 90-92% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2022 the fee structure was of 5.5 lakhs but heard this year it has increased. You get various scholarships to ease out the fees pressure. Internships training and placements are also provided. The highest placement on campus was 32lpa.

Campus Life

We have freshers(Footprints) to annual fest(Advaya) to tech fest(Paridhi). The only thing we lack is a playground. But there are various clubs and communities and they host multiple events to get busy with. We have huge collections of books in library We have sports event,greenovation events,social works. We've got it all

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
