Campus life is good and relaxing except academics
Calicut medical is the top most college of kerala

It was my dream to become a doctor that's why l chose this path Faculties are very busy ones in this field... They lack time for everything Most of the time classes are taken by PG students through powepoint presentation

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a govt institution, fees are low compared to private college.. But still we give a amount of arround 23,000 as academic fees.. We also give hostel fees, Misilaneous fees and many others Books are bought by ourself which are very costly No scholarship are available for general cateogries

Campus Life

Life at campus is good Well infrastructured Library is huge with lots of books and guides.. It's a very calm place for studying Physical education department of college is well developed and college is no 1 in sports

Hostel Facilities

We have 6 members in one room.. Double decker beds.. 3 tables and chairs It is very congested room Hostel mess is very poor... Good quality is very bad As it's a govt hostel.... Time takes a lot for repairing infrastructure

Hostel Fee: INR 8000 per year

Admission

I cleared NTA NEET 2021 and secured a rank of 4211 AIR and got admission in Calicut medical college, Kerala All medical admissions occurs via Neet examination Reservation benefits are available Cut off marks are less for reserved cateogries which is very unfair In my opinion

Thrissur Medical College

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

My dream college in reality.

I got this college based on my marks and rank obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. You can apply for as many as colleges you like across the country but you'll get according to your rank. The cutoff marks each year depends on the toughness of the exam and the number of seats in mbbs is also increasing yearly. You can't get admission into a medical college in India without writing NEET entrance exam . I've applied to many other colleges also but I was not eligible according to my rank.
