Course Curriculum Overview
The NMC 2019 CBME guidleines are followed. , youll have to face ecams tooo often in first year, but second year onwards its fine , the difficulty level of ecams is harded than university papers, but its fine, you will afjust to it
Internships Opportunities
Theres a cumpolsory 1 year internship post mbbs, with a stipend of 11000 per month , you also get to do clinical postings from your second year onwards, to help you out wjth clincial knowledge, otherwise you dont need any other internships
Fees and Financial Aid
The campus is average, or below par, but the academics are really great, patient flow is too good for a private college, proffesors are good, occasional college events happen but are below par, fees is 7.7 lac per year( tution ) and 50k(extra) 25k( hostel ) 45k( mess) for MBBS batch of 2023, for NRI students its 20 lac tution fees, there are no scholarships
Campus Life
You have Christmas and Onam festivities, you also have annual sports meets , and a few DJ nigjts druing hostel day and pre convocations , otherwise the campus life is pretty much dead due to strict curfew timings
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are average, we have 2 types of hostel, one with attached bathromms and one without attached bathrooms, you can have single double or triple sharing rooms and pay accordingly, fees for iostel is 25k, and 45 k for mess, curfew timings are 7pm
Admission
This is what i was alloted after all india counselling, so i wasnt left with many other options, the strength of north indians is more than other colleges in kerala, also, its a little more economical
Faculty
Aprox 150 students in each batch, 3 deparmtnets in first year, each department has aprox 7-10 faculty members, wpuld prefer not to take any names , there are 3 sessional exams, and 1 model,followed by university exam's
Night Life
Theres no campus life here, attend classes untill 3.30 and get back to your hostel by 7, after 7 the campus is pretty much dead, sp dont expect a night life, just order some food to have it in hostell
