Course Curriculum Overview

As 2021 batch we follow the CBME 2019 curriculum under Kerala University of health sciences (KUHS). Comparatively this curriculum mainly focuses on clinical aspects starting from 1st year which helps in better understanding of concepts. AETCOM modules are also included in this curriculum.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 696000 per year

Internships Opportunities

One year compulsory internship is necessary after claering final year examination. Approx Rs 10000 is paid monthly as stipend Internship are well trained in all departments and mostly work 24-48 hr shifts

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

For AC quota Approx tution fee -7 lakhs Hostel fee 38000 Mess fee - 4000/month Books cost same for everyone approx 7000 per year For Sc/St quota students No tuition fees only hostels & mess fee applcable Scholarship for financial backward students available after obtaining certificates for the same proving it

Most of the regional and cultural festivals are celebrated here like onam, Christmas etc every year The college conducts annual intermedico sports event named Confluenz which is quite famous Annual spiritual conference mahaniam is also conducted every year mostly in October. Central library is present with all kinds of medical books

Hostel Facilities

There is triple double & single occupancy available In 1st year it's triple occupancy and each student gets cupboard, study table , chair etc Quality of meals offered is moderate. A day scholar is still required to pay hostel fees

Admission

I applied to other colleges in Kerala along with my present college but chose this college as it was nearer to my hometown than the other colleges I had in mind . I was not able to get seat in Government medical College due to very high cutoff. My college follows the same admission as any other colleges all required documents are to be submitted with 2-3 copies and photographs

Remarks:

One of the best college to study mbbs in kerala. most prestigious institute in kerala. a negative id say is that now since most of the renovation is going on there is a lot of dust and debris. making it very difficult for the students in the campus

About my college life

I took this college just because I got admission in this college According to the neet rank of mine. I didn't get any rejection. I got my first admission here itself so I came and took admission here itself. Here students are being allotted by their neet UG exam marks and rankings. The only exam accepted here is neet UG. For pg neet pg exams are considered. For my year students around 10000-11000 ranks in Kerala were eligible in this college with around 450-550 marks in their neet UG examinations. comparing to other colleges the infrastructure is really poor. And the dedication of the teachers for making theory students study is more seen in other colleges. They are not interested in letting students for doing extra curricular activities. The students too need some sounght of fun amidst their stressful lives. And the management is so much interested in finding out what mistakes we do rather than thinking more about how to make their students benefit from their life in this college....Read More

My neet score was 546 in 2022. Here there is christian quota so christians need a very leaser score compared to other religions. without Any reservations youll need more that 530 to get a seat. The simple and powerful college review.

Eligibility is Plus two Biology Science and also eligible for the NEET examination. The details of application is available from the National Medical Council of India. The reservation is available in college, that is included ST, SC, OBC, OEC etc. The eligibility exams are yearly wise, and the exam was very tough with lakhs of students are appearing.
