The faculty member are good but some of them are rude and they are not at all helpful just poke students and intentionally they don't give marks in assesment. Specially in CSE branch (EX-HOD) Bikash Sadhukhan. Qualification is totally good syllabus are covered with full guidance lab classes are performed well. Exams are timely taken depending upon the university (MAKAUT) and papers are not too tough but moderate.

Many companies approach for internship for every students and most of them gets the paid and non paid both internships. Which are genuinely very helpful. Hackathon are performed. GDSC events are performed for students.

On campus placement is decent, students with high knowledge skills and understanding can grab high package placement here , average students also gets decent placement here. Maximum number of students gets placement, according to 2022 data 90% of students got placed .

Fees structure is reasonable but could be decreased a bit.But student can gain the benifits of scholarship like SVMCM, where it depends on family's financial status and if they are eligible for it then they can avail upto 60,000 per year.

The campus area is too large, canteen provided quality food. The campus is still under construction, the management is still working on it and making it a big campus. But the lift of the college doesn't work it might work in future. Sports and extra curricular activities are also available.

The eligibility for the course and college is you should have minimum 60% and above in your 12th board exam and must have appeared in any of state or all India entrance exam, (WBJEE), (JEE) no other entrance exam will be entertained. There is no need of application form or application dates you need to appear in entrance exam score a decent percentile and can get admission into it. If you apply through councelling then you may get benefits of quota or reservation benifits. Personally I don't think there must be any kind of change in this admission process, because it is smooth and systematically based on councelling.
