Likes

The availability of snacks and Street foods inside the campus , the parks inside which had shaded sitting spots that really cools down the humidity.
The easy accessibility of transaction as in the use of digital banking
The provided healthcare facilities inside the campus

Dislikes

The poor conditions.of the bathrooms especially the drainage
The poor wifi connection all around the university
The poor conditions of the classrooms which do not have the basic amenities

Course Curriculum Overview

I took English in my Bachelor's , so i therefore went on and took that in my Master's too. In the University, the ratio of the Faculty could be summed as 6:4 in terms of sex. The professors were highly qualified as in their Academic qualification. The classes were held regularly and the test and exams weren't that hard

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were pretty much affordable and the expense of studying weren't that costly. The scholarship application time span is quite short . . The availability of jobs is almost impossible in the campus and stipend is almost equal to none

Campus Life

The university has its own departmental welcome party for freshers, and one common welcome party of all the freshers. Unfortunately the classrooms conditions are deteriorated. There aren't that many books available in the library. Each department with each class has their own social media group for any updates

Admission

The university had its own entrance test where it followed the CUET pattern . My marks at the test exceeded the cut off and was elegible to apply . Then my documents were asked to be submitted with a short interview. And with that the admission was wrap up

My beloved Manipur University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose psychology because of some reasons:- 1). I like it. 2). I want to heal my self. 3). I want to help my friends, family and other to stay mentally healthy. The curriculum that provides is so good. It helps me to fulfill my dreams in some aspects. It quite reasonable to apply to the real world as it teaches how to cope our mental stress and to help others. How to give therapy. How to live a more understanding and peaceful life. The area for improvement may be , it will be better if the time of course is increase. Because it's lots and lots to learn and just 2 years course is not enough for more learning. As there are one one exam for each semester and there are lot of presentations and seminars. And the duration of semesters are only 6 months each. It's quite tough to handle it. But we handle it ????

Placement Experience:

Yes, there is the opportunity of campus placements. It is conducted generally in the last semester of the courses. A percentage of around 30-40 students would have got campus placements. My plans after receiving the degree is to pursue my PHD.

College Review

Admission:

I opt for this course because I think it is necessary for my career. This institution is the apex body of education in the state and is the only central govt. run college and so I chose it. I got through the entrance which is transparent to me, the admission process is quite fair and convenient and the dates provided are accurate, although sometimes we have to run here and there due to distance within the campus.

College life of Standard College, Kongba

I applied for the GP women's college before I apply for the college I'm currently studying in. I opted for the college I'm studying is because it is closer to my house and is convenient to walked also if there is no public transportation going nearby. Until now, I didnt get rejected from any college I applied for.
