All you need to know about FIEM

For my case since my family is from IT background thats why i chose this course and also the only course which gives you a placement with decent money to run your family within short time. Most of the teachers in this course have either done their PhDs and are still increasing their knowledge or are already too experienced. The timings of the exams were a little random and the marking scehem i still couldn't get which marking scheme is used to calculate our marks.

There are many internships offered by some of the companies that had come through our college doors but since I was not interested in any of them i didnt pay any attention to them but if you are willing to do any then yes they are available

After 3rd year only the students get elligible for placements. Many companies like cap gemini, TCS,WIPRO,MINDTREE, and many other comoanies come here to offer jobs with different packages. The highest package that has been availed till now was a 15lpa package and if you study decently you would be getting atleast 2- 3 jobs. My plan is to get a high lpa job and then work on myself again by studying a little further

Well for the backward classes or those who have that stamp of backward classes or ST SC titles they do have special seats and some of the discounted offers for this course. You can find them in the university website makaut.net. I didnt get any scholarship but i got the student credit card loan from the bank and since i am still a second year i didnt get any placements

Their are too many annual fests in this college for each club (there are four clubs) each has its annual programs with each one of them as big as the other. Every student can enjoy all these fests and much more. There are ample of books in the library but only regarding the curriculum. No other genre of books available and also all the clubs are run by the student and for the students with a little guidance from the faculty members

The admission process is quite simple firstly you have to give the joint entrance examinations the JEE MAINS or WBJEE (the forms you will find in google only), you should be 12th passout student to opt for this course. After the wbjee exam the WB govt will only provide you with all the colleges in west bengal and you have to choose your colleges preference wise that means distance course fees(each college fees is given in google in an approx manner). You will be given a college according to your rank and the colleges you have given the first priorities if you pass their cutoffs however you can sit for 2 more rounds where the cutoffs get lowered and you can actually go for a better college if you have low rank. Even if a college gets selected in first round you can reject it and sit for second round for a better college only if you have confidence over your rank and also remember you wont be getting that first round college back once you reject it.
