Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I do choose the Cyber Security course as there is the recession time and Cyber Security is one of course that will be least affected and there will more demand for it in future. The faculty:student ratio will be 1:25. The faculty is good and supportive and the teachers are well qualified some of them are PHD qualified while others also having Master degrees. There are 2 CAE exams every semester and ESE(End Sem Exam) the exam is little difficult as many students gets back but if study before a week of exam it will be very easy for you to pass and get good CGPA. If you pass with average marks then you will get 8 CGPA easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are much not much college's in India which offers Internship but in GHRCE there is a whole semester dedicated for internship. They provides internship from college but it is hard to get it from college. Comapnies offering Inetrnships are also provides stipend like 10k-15k.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 8th semester students are eligible to get campus placement. Most of the mass requiters visit college some are TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc... AND some high ends firms also visit college like Amazon , JP MORGAN etc... 40 students got 8LPA ctc in 2023 and the highest is 17.25LPA from Amazon in 2023, where the average pacakage was 4LPA with only 40% students placed. I will find a job by not in camous placement but will see it on my own.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is 1,54,000 ruppes fees of 1st year but as in Maharahstra you will get easy scholarships. For ST/SC students fees is below 30,000 and for OBC the fees will be 94,000 and general category students also gets the EBC scholarship where they have to pay same as OBC students. Please note that there is 8,000 rupees of exam fees for 2 smemesters which you have to pay seperately. College offers Placement but it is very less like only 40% students gets Placements with only 4 LPA CTC.

Campus Life

3

There is an annual fest called "Antaragini" which happes every year but due to small campus of the college there is not much space to enjoy. Library is well equipped it has vast collections of books you will get Government exams books to CAT and GATE exam books. Classrooms are well structured and there is projectors in every class. The campus is small and there is no ground for outdoor sports and if the students wants to play outdoor sports then they have to go to the other campus of the college which is 3km away from the college whereas the the college is having indoor sports facility. There is only one major club is the college named Toastmasters which is a club to get get confiedent on stage and enhance communication skills.

Admission

The college is of Linguistic Minority college that is hindi minority, it is very easy for hindi minority students to take admission in college. There is MHT-CET exam which is compulsary to take admission for Maharastra students and there is also an option of taking admission through JEE-MAINS. Also students have the option to take admission through Maganement that carries 20% of the seats. Although there is 20% reserved for managemnt still there are most of the students gets admitted through Management.

Other Applied Colleges

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
