Course Curriculum Overview
I have a keen interest in science and technology . I love coding so I decided to take this course as it gives you a wide knowledge about coding and also many other technologies involved. There are 10-15 professors for every branch . Every branch have 200-300 students. Most of the teachers have done M.Tech and PhD in there respective fields. Semester Exams happen every 5-6 months and there are 4 class assessments also which helps in performing good in the semester exams. The difficulty level of ths exam is good it's not a tough job to pass but it's not that easy too.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was admitted to this course a chart was given to me and according to that I have to have 45000-47000 per semester. So for the 4-year course, I have to pay around 3,60,000 and there is an additional training charge worth rs. 10,000. This was about 2022 but in the year 2023, the college has increased the fees from 45000-47000 to 69000 per semester. I have got SVMCM scholarship by the West Bengal Government which gives 60,000 per year. It provides great help to me.
Campus Life
There are many clubs or forums available in the college like technical forums, visual arts forums, orators forums, performing arts forums, etc. There is a Technical fest organized every year named Techstorm and a cultural fest organized after every 4 years named Elixir. Every year cricket, football, and Throwball competition is also organized by the college. Many coding-related WhatsApp groups are also run by senior college students to help the juniors to grow and clear there doubts.
Admission
For this college I have to give WBJEE exam which is circulated by West Bengal Government. You have to score above 20 marks and rank should be from 14000- 30000 to get admission in this college. After securing good rank you have to fill the seat arrangement and make this college a priority if you want this . Then there will be a physical document verification ,for that you have to visit the college's admission office in Park Street with your documents within a fixed time and after that you can take admission after paying the admission charges which was 69000 in my case.
