Remarks

Situated in the heart of Mumbai, it is one of the best junior colleges. The canteen was awesome, also had good crowd. The teachers were also supportive and also it had th best of the festivals taking place in the town. Loved the experience.

Entrance Preview

Since it was junior college, I got admission in this college through the online procedure. It was based on my SSC score. I scored 92.36% and wanted to join the science stream, I selected this college in my preference to join and hopefully got in this. There wasn't an interview as such. It was on your score.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I selected consisted of Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and English. We also had a vocational subject which was software as I selected the vocational science stream. Practicals were there as per the syllabus by the CBSE board.

Internships Opportunities

The college did not provide any internship and there wasn't any need for such. The course was more theory-oriented hence practical experience in the form of the internship weren't required.

Placement Experience

5

There wasn't any placement as such since it was just a junior college, with no formal degree to be recognizable. The placement wasn't provided at this stage. Students preferred to do further course for their graduation and then apply for jobs.

College Events

5

The events our college had was the best. It was one of the festivals to be attended as mentioned in the local newspapers. Many students from different colleges turned up. Stand up comedians, TV celebrities also came to make the festival more exciting which consisted of many competitions like dance, etc. It was really a good one to remember.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was quite affordable. A reputed college charging an affordable some was very good. For vocational science, it was 13k a year, so the total fees of mine were 26k.

Fees and Financial Aid

We didn't got any scholarship. The fees was quite affordable for everyone. So scholarships weren't provided.

Campus Life

3.5

We had sports activities like inter college matches, and the festival which were a part of the extra curricular activity.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The college didn't had any hostel accommodation for the students which was a bit disappointing as i stay far from the college and need to travel an hour by train to reach. It was difficult to travel.

Alumni/Alumna

There wasn't any alumni network as such by the college.

Exam Structure

The exams was as prescribed by the board. We had 4 unit test a year, and 2 semester exams. It was quite a chilled at the start of the course and things went hectic by the end.

Faculty

4

The teachers were really experienced. They were teaching in the institute since 6-7 years. They had good knowledge of their respective subjects and also taught as well. They were helpful. The attendance wasn't much, still the teachers taught us really well.

In past i have given competitive exam so at that time i was very fustrated so i decide to change my stream so therefore i choose to become an interior designer Because my father have business in the same feild so i thought to extend my father business. This feild teach us how to communicate with the people in the market and conveinced them for your design. And we do have many site visite and market survey for that.this is how this feild prepares us for real -world . This feild is very underrated Because parents think ki our child should be doctor or engineer only.as many people not consider design as an art . the duration of the exam is 15-20days . the paper are easy -moderate level.

Curriculum was great and equipped with knowledge and skills needed . It helped me for my masters in uk as well . But I feel more practical implementation of that knowledge was lacking. Exams where to easy to crack . More emphasis on Pratical part should be given . Exams should be more real problem solving oriented questions to check the knowledge of student on food safety problems in food industry.
