Course Curriculum Overview

3

i chose this course because i like to do creative things and the subjects have been interesting so far It does prepare us well with all the different aspects of fashion. It teaches us everything we could do in fashion and outside of it too They could improve on the things they teach to make it more advanced and modern exams are after every 3-4months when semester ends and the timings differs but between morning and afternoon it is held. the difficulty level is easy

Internships Opportunities

3

Till now the internship we've gotten is with reliance and in the later year we might get to do internship with lakme. You can always approach the HOD if you want to internships and our teachers keep sending us opportunities too if we are interested. The stipend is different for every internship and some do not have any i don't know much about the projects in internship but the tasks we got with reliance was related to floor work and that is something that everyone will get as the first internship

Fees and Financial Aid

year wise the fees is 86,000 and the total course fees is 2.5lakh the fees might slowly increase there are no other compulsory charges but u have the choice to buy art kit and stitching kit from the college which is 14k totally besides that u have to source fabrics alot from outside so u can expect 3k in every month to be gone There aren't any financial aid that i know of but sometimes they give u the option to pay in installements

Campus Life

2

we have one annual event which is in the start of the year in february or march besides that there are small events in college too but it's not good like any of the other colleges or as upscale and the students itself can't always see it or attend due to lectures the library is nice and big and has alot of variety in books going from fiction to autobiography. A book lover would love the library There is no technological aspect involved in our teaching methods only a projector is shown sometimes for presentations or videos and when we have our computer period we have computers in a room and have to sit there There is sports event once a year and they have teams that u can apply for including badminton, chess etc There are no clubs or student run social groups in our college

Admission

i applied to other colleges like SOFT and MIT and got in but i ended up in this instead as my dads friend said it is better or the students from there end up being more "hardworking". I didn't know too much about the private ones too the ones i knew about were really expensive but INIFD is a good option and is comparatively cheaper the admission process of our college is a bit old fashioned too, you get a token then have to come in real life fill the form give the necessary documents and then pay the fees either through cash cheque or online

Faculty

3

the faculty is lesser i think as one teacher can be teaching two or three subjects at a time. Most faculties have a good relationship with the students and are approachable the teacher that i really liked was an illustration one called Shirin maam she is really friendly and keeps ur brain always thinking of creative things. She inspired me alot The faculty i didn't like im not gonna talk about it as some teachers some might like while some might not, All of them are nice in their own ways there are exams at the end of every semester and u will have unit tests sometimes too maybe but most of ur internal marks depend on the assignments you get. The exams are easy and not many fail in it. The course is relevant but is kind of old fashioned too

Night Life

1

If i'm being honest everyone just rushes back home after college as i said there's not really a social life here but if you're lucky and get a good friendgroup there are places to eat right opposite the college and gym as well i don't know much about the hostel timings but we leave college by 5:30 max the canteen is where everyone mostly goes as there is only two canteens between all the different builduings. No one is allowed to go in at night unless there's a function and honestly it looks haunted at night with dogs all around

Course Curriculum Overview:

In past i have given competitive exam so at that time i was very fustrated so i decide to change my stream so therefore i choose to become an interior designer Because my father have business in the same feild so i thought to extend my father business. This feild teach us how to communicate with the people in the market and conveinced them for your design. And we do have many site visite and market survey for that.this is how this feild prepares us for real -world . This feild is very underrated Because parents think ki our child should be doctor or engineer only.as many people not consider design as an art . the duration of the exam is 15-20days . the paper are easy -moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was great and equipped with knowledge and skills needed . It helped me for my masters in uk as well . But I feel more practical implementation of that knowledge was lacking. Exams where to easy to crack . More emphasis on Pratical part should be given . Exams should be more real problem solving oriented questions to check the knowledge of student on food safety problems in food industry.
