Likes

I like most the library with huge structure and its facilities.
Playgrounds, sports activities, extra curricular activities
Liked the way of understanding from teachers.

Dislikes

The hostel premises are closed after 6pm onwards.
There are no revision classes for students like me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am reading at ECE branch because I am very interested in elecronics, sensor work, robotics. I am very curious to know about this things and want to do this things. Here teachers are very good and teaches the students in a grateful manner. Exams are not tough enough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I heard from students that college is offering best internship programs to recurt more to more students. I clarify that all students of our batch get jobs without one students he is me. I don't know other things.

Placement Experience

There are around 8 semesters in B. TECH. from 7th sem. job opportunitys are eligible. Company's like hcl, einosis, slyflex are coming to recurt students every year. many students benefited. I do not know much better.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course structure for B. TECH computer science branches for dayscholars are upto 1,45,000 including tution fees, bus transportation services and many more facilitys. For boarders the institution is giving 195000 including hostels fees, fooding charges and tution fees. Scholarship like E-medhabruti, for UG, PG both types of scholarship makes students encourage.

Campus Life

In our college annual function is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. Around February, March it is celebrated. In this time all exams are over so all the students exited for the function. Library???????? with novels, reading books and preparation books for exams etc are available. There are several clubs like GITA Batbinton club, barbel club, chess club. Social groups NSS is available.

Admission

By the time I was searching for a B. Tech college near BBSR. I heard about GITA that is offering so much benifits in its college. for sc/st there are so much benifits. By the time of admission I saw the improvement of playgrounds, the college at in the rush of improvement.

Interview Experience

At our college you can apply online through website. For admission ojeee, jee, sp. OJEE are required. The higher the rank you got in these exams the higher the college give you good fees.the exams are not very tough depends on your study.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

A balanced blend of learning,growth, and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly comprhensive covering core subjects in the first two years and advanced electives like AI,cloud and Data analytics later, which influenced my decision to join. It balances theory with labs and projects,preparing students for real-world applications and higher studies. Exams are held twice a semester plus finals with moderate difficulty. Improvement is needed in making some courses ore practical and updating a few outdated topics.

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Remarks:

College is surrounded by beautiful nature. 7-8 km from college is Hirakud Dam which is the longest Earthen dam in Asia. The Place Burla which college is located is away from traffic and city chaos and is very peaceful place to roam around for getting peace of mind.

A good university with a good environment. Healthy atmosphere.

Remarks:

KIIT University is a heaven on earth for students. I would suggest. Please do apply for this university if you are interested and you won't regret. The only bad part, it's a private University. And people don't realize it's worth saying it's not a government University so they won't be able to provide jobs. It's a myth. Infrastructure and exposure wise this university is the best.

Entrance Preview:

JEE mains and my score was 145. My percentile was 95 in boards. I chose this college partly because my brother has passed out from same college n partly because it has a good reputation in case of campus placements. Nearly every student is placed from campus only.

The reality of GITA AUTONOMOUS college

There are 3 ways to join this college. 1.JEE councelling If you have the rank in between approximately 350000 to 1500000 , then you can join in this college without any problem. 2.OJEE councelling 3.You can get management seats if you passed in 12th examination with PCM subject selection . But you have to score more than a specific mark in the PCM subjects. You can apply to get admission in this college by Jossa councelling (jee) website and ojee councelling website. If you want to join by jossa councelling then you have to fill up the form by asked documents and 10000 councelling fees. Admission process is quite easy but there is also an another process in which you just have to contact the college admission department and you have to give 20000 and the college go through every process of the admission by themselves.
