A tad bit too strict and I have no idea about the fests itself

Course Curriculum Overview

I will be honest, I chose this course cause it is a bit light and I had always liked drawing diagrams when it came to studies. Also non maths background students get a boost in CAT scores, so it was one of the deciding factors along with ample time for extra curricular activities. Faculty to student ratio is good. Faculties are Phd scholars or pursuing them and have a lot of research experience Term exams were timely, and they were easy for me to pass.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Not much Idea, There are a lot of companies coming though. I bagged an internship in INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL in the first semester itself, so there are a lot of opportunities. Heard quite a bit of other internships as well, though I have not sat through an internship fair yet.

Placement Experience

I think 3rd year students after 6th sem become eligible for placements? Accenture, Deloitte, etc. come to the college as far as I know. Highest package was around 22LPA, median package was around 10-11LPA Percentage of students??? depends on course, higher in commerce. But if you know how to find opportunities, its easy to get placed with decent salary. Plans? I want to do MBA from FMS or IIM-A

Fees and Financial Aid

I was not much hampered by the fee hikes since my father makes a decent living, so very much unopinionated about it. I got IQAC cell internship in my 1st semester. They pay me 5000 per month. Please account for my 2 years and 1 month of past job experience for that. Also, I got a DU Buddy internship as an SME via my friend.

Campus Life

I don't know much about the fest since I am a fresher, but haven't heard much positives about it. Library is awesome, one of the best in DU. Classrooms are good in my block, have multiple ACs as well. Sports and extra curricular activities are ample, quite easy to come across chances.

Admission

CUET Eligibility was - Physics + Chemistry + Biology + English I was judged out of 600 marks, needed only qualifying marks for english I had scored around 520+ in CUET 2023 I got admission in the first list itself in Hans Raj College I found application form, fees and dates on the UGC websites

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

A simple view of Hansraj

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes
