Course Curriculum Overview

With my rank in JEE Advanced I got this course. The faculty at IIT HYDERABAD are very experienced. The faculty:student ratio is around 1:60 or 2:150. All the faculty are done their PhD's in reputed universities.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship selections were made in fifth semester. Maximum all top companies will participate and grab the students. The average stipend is very good and the duration of this last for 3 to 6 months.

Placement Experience

The campus placement percentage is very good almost every graduate gets an offer letter. In 3rd we have the internships and in fourth year there will be placement selections. The highest package will vary from branch but overall highest package is 70lpa and lowest around 6 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is good compared to other universities or colleges. Also we can get scholarship facilities from different organisations life Tata scholarship, Axis Bank scholarship and many more. Also we can get an internship based on our performance in academics.

Campus Life

We are having a lot of clubs in different categories like Torque club for aerospace, Lambda club for coding, writing clubs, photography clubs and many more. Also the campus life very excellent with lot of fests and events.

Hostel Facilities

At first year of B.Tech all students will get double sharing rooms to interact in early stages of college life after that we get single rooms and with washing machine facility in each floor. The rooms were very decent and comfortable for one person.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I appear for JEE Mains and cleared both mains and advanced. With my rank in JEE Advanced I got Electrical Engineering in IIT HYDERABAD. We can find all the details about fee in IIT HYDERABAD official website.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

I appiled for vit and emcept but main goal to join iit, no i dint get rejection in any colleges i got admission in every college but i didnt choose because of my dream college. In iits we get very good and merit people and we get more free time and time to study ourself and learn things by ourself. We have a lot fests at least for a month we enjoy a lot and we have a lot of resouces to get knowledge and good faculity. The only one eligiblity for our college is to write jee advancee and mains . First for mains more than 14 lakhs people write and in that 14 lakhs 2to 3 lakh people slected for advance. And 23 k people will select fot advance the cutoff will be like we should get 95% above for mains but we dont know for advance they change for every year.
