Course Curriculum Overview

As I have achieved my diplomas in IT, for higher studies I wanted to be in the technical domain itself; thus, chose B.Tech in Computer Science. The faculty is good and are cooperative. The exams are conducted via a planned scheme decided before the academic starts.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 153000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The intership provided differs as per the situation. There are intership which I have heard are provided by IT hub. No idea of stipend, but if situational you can be provided with a stipend. You can always opt for the intership provided from outside the college if the internship provided by college is not satisfactory.

Placement Experience

From the mid term of 3rd year the students become eligible for the job placement as far I know. Many companies visit here for providing placement such as J.P. Morgan, Deloitte, etc.. The average placement package is about 8.5 LPA and the last year i.e. 2023, the highest package acquired by the students were 17 LPA by J.P. Morgan.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am studying in here being from Mumbai, so for brief the cost of college fee is pretty basic as I have applied for EBC. In short, to compensate it, the hostel fees take over the place. You can apply for Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship if you are EBC/OBC.

Campus Life

The out stand fest that occurs here is the 'Antaragani'. You can avail books from libraries and it is ease to do, and the library is fast. No ground for sports at the campus is the con of the college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is great. The rooms are cleaned on daily basis by the house keeping staff. You can register for hostel from the College office itself. Being a non-vegetarian, it is not ease to be happy with the food, but if u are vegetarian, then the food provided is great as it is pure veg and taste great.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

The admission process was smooth via. DTE portal. I have applied for EBC and thus, availed my scholarship. The 12th passout students as well as diploma pursued students are eligible for the admissions.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required.
