Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in the subject computer, there are 65 students and the faculty members are amazing in paying equal attention to every student. Faculties are really qualified. Passing exams totally depends on how we study it is difficult but that is the fun

Internships Opportunities

A lot of companies come for internships, being the CR I get to talk to a lot of them, they offer various student programs in which we are often interested but we are unable tonattend because of the course fee

Placement Experience

Placement is pretty good in college but due to world recession lot of placement problems are arising everywhere which is unavoidable. Plans after getting the degree is getting a good job in the feild of IT

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees while I took admission was alright but now I have been hearing thatvit is increasing gradually which I feel should change because students from various backgrounds come to study in engineering colleges it will be helpful for them to have an affordable course

Campus Life

Annual fest name is Advaya ane the texh fest is Megatronix. Books are available in the beggining of the semester but later there is some unavailability found..there are projectors and cameras in every classroom there are various extra curriculum activities in sports and cultural activities too, sargam is the official music club

Admission

I am in 3rd year currently have been studying in this college for 3 years, one good thing is the43 are really good faculty members, they are great mentors and teachers. I have got the chance of participating in various cultural activities and won prizes because of my coll3ge

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
