Course Curriculum Overview

Choosing the course at Sarsuna College was driven by its comprehensive curriculum aligning with my career goals. The faculty members were knowledgeable, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The favorable faculty-to-student ratio ensured personalized attention. The faculty boasted impressive qualifications, with many holding advanced degrees in their respective fields. Their teaching methods were engaging and interactive, encouraging critical thinking. Term exams were conducted promptly, and while challenging, they effectively gauged our understanding. Passing exams required dedication, but the faculty's support and accessible resources facilitated success. In essence, Sarsuna College's course curriculum and faculty members played pivotal roles in my academic journey, providing a solid foundation for my chosen field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure at Sarsuna College was reasonable, reflecting a commitment to accessible education. While there was an occasional nominal fee hike, the college had a transparent policy, and the overall cost of studying remained affordable. Sarsuna College offered various scholarships and financial assistance programs, supporting students with merit and need-based aid. Personally, I availed the [Scholarship Name] for academic excellence, which significantly eased my financial burden. Additionally, the college provided on-campus job opportunities, allowing students to gain work experience while earning a stipend. I secured a position as a [Job Title], enhancing my skills and contributing to my expenses. Overall, the combination of a fair fees structure, scholarships, and on-campus job opportunities made education at Sarsuna College financially viable and enriched my college experience.

Campus Life

Life at Sarsuna College campus is vibrant, offering a rich blend of social engagement and academic resources. The annual fest, [Annual Fest Name], held in [Month], brings the campus alive with cultural festivities. The tech fest, [Tech Fest Name], in [Month], showcases innovation and technological prowess. The library is well-equipped, featuring a diverse collection of books and journals catering to various academic interests. Classrooms are modern and comfortable, equipped with audio-visual amenities facilitating effective learning. Sarsuna College's campus life is dynamic, encouraging holistic development and creating lasting memories.

Admission

As a student at Sarsuna College, the admission process was fairly straightforward. I applied for my course through the college website, where I found detailed information about eligibility criteria. The application form was easily accessible online, and the application fees were reasonable. The college clearly outlined the important dates, ensuring I didn't miss any deadlines. I didn't have to take a separate entrance exam, but the admission was based on merit. The college had a transparent cutoff system, and the merit list was published promptly. The reservation benefits were well-defined, though I personally did not avail of any. One improvement I'd suggest for the admission process is enhancing communication channels. Clearer guidelines on required documents and more frequent updates on the application status would be beneficial. Overall, my experience at Sarsuna College has been positive, and the streamlined admission process allowed me to focus on my academic journey.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.
